  1. Thank you for the quick reply MainEvent. Much appreciated. I sure hope you are right. There is truly nothing more frustrating to those of us with 400+ games online, (in other words, losers who are absolutely in love with the game) than matching up with one of the the top 500 players (i'm 290 by the way, lol) only to realize that they do not even aim when they hit. This was not possible in 08, 09. In result there are scores of veterans and allstars, and even HOFers who have amazing records, despite not being able to aim when swinging. It is a boring, and dumbed down experience which jeopardizes the true integrity of the game of baseball. Please reply if you are able to test out this feature in your new game. I have been hoping for nearly a year now that they rid the game of such an aimless, pardon the pun, feature. Rookie level, fine. Legend, no way. Cheers!
  2. Main Event! Thank you for taking the time to provide a thorough and exciting post! For those of us who LOVE the Show, this was as exciting as Opening Day! I do have one question: One of the most frustrating changes from 2009 to 2010 was the introduction of "Center Swinging" or "No-AIM Swinging". That is, many online players realized that if they did not use the L3 button to aim at a pitch, and relied solely on timing, they were in fact rewarded-EVEN THOUGH THEY MISS THE PITCH COMPLETELY! High pitches in the corners of the zone can be pounded for home runs, despite the hitter simply using the X or Square button to time the pitch and swinging dead middle. As you might expect, to true gamers and ballplayers, this is highly frustrating coming from "The Most Realistic Baseball Game Ever!" It is important to mention that this is true on every level, including HOF and Legend. It was almost as if they dumbed down the game to make it easier for folks who don't know baseball...patience...strike zone discipline...etc....to be able to hit. This is fine on Rookie level, but I digress. The question then is, Have the necessary changes been made to reflect TRUE contact with the ball and the necessity of AIMING in addition to timing in order to hit? Thank you in advance, and once again, your comments are greatly appreciated. Shawn
