  1. Why did he do this to Battier? Of all people, one of the most respected dudes A'mare [expletive]s with.
  2. This is awesome. I cannot wait to see both of em back in NYC next year. I hope we add someone like Nash, or bring Felton back as someone stated earlier. Who do you guys ideally want to pick up?
  3. I think both teams have a great chance at returning, and not only this year, but multiple times in the near future. KD will be more hungry then ever, and I almost think it's better he got a taste of the finals and lost, it'll make him want to return that much more. (unless they're like the '09 Magic, which is highly unlikely) They also have every started along with Harden under 30, I believe, which is just crazy! I love both of these teams, not to play against, but to watch. I think they'll face off once more in the finals, which would be a nice re-match in which I think would go to 6 or 7 games. As for next year, I feel as if the Heat will definitely return. The Bulls have a shot, but I don't see them taking Miami out. Boston's only chance was this year, and they got as close as they could've. I think the Spurs can still compete in the West, along with both LA teams, but I still see OKC returning.
  4. I also saw the ref put his hand on Spoelstra as he ran by, I'm sure it wasn't anything but I knew it'd definitely raise a bunch of questions. Anyway, referring to the game, seeing the zone Mike Miller was in was unbelievable. I love watching games in Miami, it just looks so cool with all of the white, and the crowd just erupted after Miller knocked down another three. Last night was the first time Lebron actually looked happy, it was actually nice to see. Nothing but respect for the Thunder organization, the class after the game was so admirable. Btw, does anyone have a vid of LBJ jumping up and down, or, more importanly Bosh's goofy face in the background? Haha, but congrats Heat fans!
  5. I'm ecstatic, I love this guy. You could see the passion he had, and to make a comeback after such an early retirement is amazing.
  6. I know we've probably had a thread for this, but what the [expletive] does Russel Westbrook wear in his post-game interviews? Anyway, I feel as if the Thunder will bring it this game and take Game 3 in Miami. The Thunder close games out, if they start hot and jump on Miami early, the Heat won't contend through three quarters. I want James Harden to keep taking shots, finished 7-11 last game from the field. I hate Westbrook as a player, and even though he played nearly the whole game, his rebounds and assist numbers did impress me.
  7. What are your opinions on Rondo/Garnett not shaking Miami's hands after the game? I feel as if Garnett is just a competitive player, and he does respect Lebron, it's just he's that type of player. Rondo confused me, he seems to have grown into a baby as he's become one of the best PG's in the league. He kicked, bitched, and complained his way through the series while playing amazing basketball.
  8. Ah, awesome. Glad it's not going anywhere, and really like the new domain. Can't wait to discuss the Finals with all of you! Going to be an amazing series.
  9. Thanks dude! I've missed it. How's everything?

  10. I still think of Kobe as the all-around "face" of the NBA. He's clutch, respected, and for the most part, well liked. But now for some reason when I think of the NBA, I think of Lebron. I think it's also partly due to the Lakers early exit. It's weird how both Lebron/Kobe are such dominant players, yet our outlooks on each of them are so different!
  11. I wish I was old enough to remember some of this, I only became a Knicks fan in '03 in Forth Grade, and I have nothing but a 1-12 playoff record and a couple of Crawford Game-Winning shots to show for it
  12. The Celtics play to get Allen open was either amazing offense, or terrible defense. Either or, this made for a hell of an ending of a game, and Rondo played absolutely amazing. It was odd to see him knocking down shots though, extremely unexpected.
  13. Weird how the time I check up on OTR this post is the first I see. I know I haven't been around a lot lately, but whenever I come back and check up, the feeling I get is one of a community, not any regular sports forum. Even though I probably haven't spoken to most of you in years, I still feel as if I know most of you personally. I started posting on this site as a freshman in high school, and now I'm preparing for my second year of college this upcoming fall. Time really does fly. I come here after RBS fell through, and the atmosphere here was just amazing. Brandon was always a stand up guy, and I really don't think he was appreciated by some as he should've been. We all don't see the work that goes in behind the scenes, and I'd like to thank B for that, even if I haven't been active in quite some time. Even though it feels as if it's been so long since I posted, I still have a lot of great memories from this forum, and would be down to post when I could on any new forum you guys create. Maybe one day I'll be able to talk about the Knicks being elite team with all of you, but until that day comes I'll do my best to check in more than I've been. Thanks again Brandon and to the rest of the guys that have been here since I started posting, you guys made this community something I was proud to be apart of.
  14. Great win, when they kept coming back we responded by going on a run of our own. The Bucks are just as hot, so we need to keep winning.
  15. Honestly depends on who you're talking to, like for me, I'll always have Linsanity. I love how he plays and how he seems to have an odd leadership quality to him.
  16. I'm in shock. Was it that stressful? Or did Melo push him out?
  17. I always complain about the refs, but this game was absolutely terrible. Paul Pierce got everything when he went to the rim, and Chandler collected board after board on the offensive side and got nothing.
  18. Went to this game. In the first half my face was buried in my hands, I was disgusted with the lack of intensity minus Tyson Chandler, and it just looked like we had no shot at winning. But our second unit, especially, Novak, Smith, and B-diddy, played amazing. They were having fun, and playing with intensity. The best part was seeing Tyson, Melo, and A'mare celebrating like 7 year olds on the bench.
  19. Lmao I'm never changing it, brings back hilarious memories. And it's funny, because Jeffries is in the background and he's the only Knick we still have from that team. And I used to HATE JR/Melo 'cause of that fight. How times have changed, ha.
  20. Haha completely agree, I guess it's just how some people handle themselves. And I'm obviously biased, I used to hate JR and now I love him, lol.
  21. I didn't realize how often Wade misses, definitely didn't expect it
