Messi didnt play THAT well..he had a few sloppy passes and got ball taken away on several occasions. Nonetheless..I've never seen a player create so many chances for himself and not score a goal (I'm referring to all three games in general). I've never seen a team score so much off his sloppy seconds too..Palermo today, and Higuain the last game lol. Argentina vs Mexico is gunna be a spectacular game. There WC game in 2006 was amazing with that craaaazy shot by Maxi to win the game.

I'm sorry but do you? Pierce needed 2 very good players by his side to finally win. Even then, he wasn't the clear centerpiece...you could make a good argument for either one of the big three, esp. Garnett since he was the one who anchored that amazing defense. There isn't anything wrong with what Bosh says...it just makes him look like real cocky. Only way he'll win a championship is by having a Gasol-like role on the team, cuz, IMO, he'll never win it being the unquestioned number one option on the team.

Just the presence of Torres opened up the game for Villa so much..I can't believe they didn't attack with him much..he was abusing Mendoza the entire game. Good game by Spain but the score doesn't indicate how much they dominated. They fall in love so much with passing sometimes that they forget they're supposed to finish to win.

Whatever you say..I just don't get how somebody who is born there, and partially watches games is more of a fan then me who lives here in Colombia when I'm basically yelling at my TV when Odom [expletive]s up, and is jumping up and down when Fisher knocks down a three. Watching games does show you're a true fan since it displays your dedication to the team and desiring that they win.. Whatever though mayne...I've seen dozens of these arguments during my time here on OTR, and they usually conclude with you making smart-[expletive] responses so I'm just gunna stop here. You cant be a real fan of an NBA team if you're born in the exterior according to him. There's no point in trying to prove your a true fan to somebody else over the internet, if you think you're one, that should be good enough.

Yep, real good subs by him.. Happy Mexico won..that stadium was FULL of Mexicans and they were going nuts the entire game. Dos Santos really impressed me..that dude does not get tired of chasing the ball lol. Dude is real strong though, and on several occasions held his ground against French defenders. and that was a penalty...unless I saw the replay incorrectly. Abidal did not touch the ball.

Yeah..what hurt Spain the most was just their inability to strike the ball well and execute well places passes near the goal. I still think they shoulda gave the Swiz more space and not pressure as much as their best chances came during those quick counter attacks instead of those 100 pass possession where it would end up with an empty cross. Only one that actaully worked off the top of my head was Pique's shot that got saved, and even then, that was all Iniesta because anybody else woulda just passed the ball back to start the ball movement again.

Why do you even watch if all you do is hate? Spain had total control of this game..all the possession in the world but they didnt know how to translate that into goals. Very poor finishing from them excluding Alonso's sniper-esque shot that hit the upper post. I still think they shoulda brought Navas and Torres much earlier. Villa looked like a midget with all those crosses in the first half, and Torres woulda opened it up more from him. Spain shoulda also attacked from both sides more instead of just one(first half = all in the left side with Iniesta and second half = all in the right side with Navas.)It woulda opened up more spaces for them to operate. Cant believe they lost but props to Switzerland..always mantained excellent defensive position and knew when to attack.

Korea really stood their ground, there were very few spaces for Brasil in the first half and thats why they didnt score. I'm kinda happy they scored that last goal because they worked hard today. Great goal by Maicon..its understandable for the goalie to give away the first post when the guy almost has a 180 angle on the goal...everybody was anticipating the cross in that instant. Real nice pass from Robinho to Elano for that second goal too. I was on the phone when it happened so I didnt see it lol Kaka seemed really rusty in the opening stages too...again, understandable since he hasnt played in awhile. Hopefully he can recover his game soon.

Jesus..it woulda been great if we coulda gotten ONE defensive rebound in the 4th. Unbelieveable and those costly turnovers too. So efeing stupid how we couldnt make our fts too..wtf was Artest thinking going up so soft in that fastbreak..so dumb.
