  1. I have a tough time putting Wilt so high cause 2 rings and just 1 Finals MVP. As far as just personal performance then yeah of course except all the time he faces Bill in the playoffs and Russell would usually hold Wil under his averages. Not to forget Bill was the one winning all the rings at that time. You can say Wilt had more help which is true but Wilt played with Jerry West and Elgin Baylor and still only won one ring with them. And the year they won I know he wasn't even near being their leading scorer. West was. I also think if he played 90's-present then he wouldn't average anywhere near his career numbers. He'd still be a beast but back in the 50's and 60's teams shot below 40% and teams grabbed 70 rebounds a game instead 40-45 like today. So obviously Wilt would average less rebounds. Maybe still close to 15 but that's not unheard of like his 22 rpg average or whatever it is. And MJ's 30.1 ppg is more impressive than Wilt's cause Jordan's was higher than 30.1 but he came back for those 2 seasons with the Wizards. Plus Jordan was a 6'6 guard playing against other 6'6 guards... Not 7'1 playing against 6'8 centers... And yes i know not all centers were 6'8" back then but in 1960 (Wilt's 1st MVP) believe there are 3 or 4 starting centers under 6'8"...
  2. Yeah Jordan Russell Adul-Jabbar Magic O'Neal Wilt Olajuwon Kobe Bird Duncan also Robertson Moses Malone Karl Malone So he is #8 to me. I think if he wins another ring and the Finals MVP this year he'll move up to #5 right behind Magic
  3. Well the vote is 11-2 so obviously your just being bias... Nothing wrong with sticking up for your guys and your team but the answer is Horford.
  4. NBA fans... I'm only 19 but I know about even the 40's and 50's It's cool man just look up some videos or look at what some of the stars back then averaged.
  5. Kobe is already the 2nd best SG of all time but I rate all those Centers pretty high so I'm gonna say Kobe isn't top 5 yet but he soon will be... I'll say (not in order) MJ, Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt, Shaq, Russell and Olajuwon are all definitely better right now cause they all dominated for an extended period of time. I love Kobe but he's 4 Finals appearances with Shaq hurts him when compared to the other G.O.A.T's... Especially when Kobe lost the 04 Finals. Smh. But I think if he gets his 6th ring and his 3rd Finals MVP this year then he is top 5.
  6. When u r 7 foot, 5 rebounds are going to bounce your way every game... Rebounding is all about effort and fundamentals (foot work, positioning, timing) so I hate when I see someone a lot shorter work a lot harder to out rebound someone. The problem is Brook always had Robin on his team up until they were drafted... Robin worked hard and hustle and made life easy for Brook to just focus on scoring. Together they were almost unstoppable... Too bad Brook allowed himself to be lazy and let his bro grab all the boards and play great D growing up.
  7. Lmao @7 rebounds is enough from your STARTING Center... Smh... Lopez can't rebound at all. Look at Love look at Dwight... Tell them 7 rebounds is ok... Maybe by half-time...
  8. These refs are enjoying Pau playing bad... -_- 2 travels and they were tryin to NOT give him that foul. Shoulda been an and 1
  9. Swishy... J.R. Has been on a title contending team for mist of his career! Just cause they never made the Finals doesn't mean the Nuggets weren't an elite team. Although Chicago would obviously be better for his chances of winning.
  10. Why will it be called hoops-nation magazine? I like that name.
  11. Yeah I agree with RD. It's all about winning. I'll be ok if Kobe scores under 15 every game as long as he is slowing down CP3 and we are winning games. Having said that I think it was just an off game for the Mamba. He'll get it going in game 3.
  12. I would like to see him go be a star for a team like the Pacers or Bobcats. Somewhere he can do what he likes to do best... Jack up 20 shots a game.
