back when pietrus and Kopono were on the market, i was preying that the raps would take Pietrus, he does all the little things that make a team successful. with Bosh on the way out, a lineup of Jack/Calderon, Demar, Pietrus, Bargs, and Gortat could be decent, and would give all of the raps young guns a chance to grow. i mean unless someone absolutely explodes for the raps this year, or a great trade of Calderons contract comes up, this looks to be a pretty sad year for the raps. Id love to see them just commit to rebuilding, and Pietrus' contract expires next year i believe.

so the heat not only lose a play, but they also get a lower pick? i understand this is strictly a salary move, but really couldnt this have gone to almost anyone? i also thought the raps were trying to get another 1st rounder, why wouldnt they offer money to get that pick this is ridiculous good for the thunder though

k first Ron, now Bell are the Lakers just picking up anyone who has had success guarding Kobe at one point in time. I swear the reason the picked up Ron was simply so he couldnt be on the other team to guard Kobe, and this seems the same.

there has to be a trade going along with this. i really think that given 3 years or so, Favors will be a top PF in the league, he has so much potential to go with an amazing skill set. huge mistake if the nets let him slip by

http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67333/20100621/wolves_offering_pacers_flynn_two_picks_for_10th_pick/ this really confuses me, and tells me a number of things. 1: the pacers dont seem that desperate to make a move for a pg 2: the wolves are throwing next season away already and getting ready for another high pick and rubio to come over 3: this package the wolves wanted from the pacers was too much to ask for (my guess is either Hibbert or Murphy) 4: who do the wolves want at 10? cole aldrich and paul george come to mind Im really surprised the pacers didnt pull the trigger, but i suspect the wolves may have been asking for someone like Roy Hibbert, who im sure the pacers would rather keep.if it was murphy, im guessing they think they can get more for his expiring. other then that though, who would they have that they desperately want to hold onto (i assume the wolves didnt ask for Granger)

doubt harper will be catching, heard itd be best for him to move to 3rd or outfield to save his knees and prolong his career but for opening night itd look pretty cool

i really dont see the point, this team might as well try and get young as it could be a rough year coming up if Bosh jumps ship. if this were to happen, i would hope the raps wait to see what bosh is doing before comitting to that.

Favors will have to put in more work, but I think his upside is huge. With Cousins, I see little upside, pretty much what you see is what you get. Favors however could be a star with the right coach and work ethic. Dont sleep on this guy.
