  1. That wouldn't be bad if they were looking to save money but the Magic don't seem to opposed to spending in order to keep winning games. I think Battier would make a lot of sense for Orlando.
  2. I'm impressed with Lebron's mentality going into hostile environments. Cleveland and New York were the two cities that were supposed to rip Lebron apart but instead he and the Heat have blown both teams. Lebron's stats in those two games? 35 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists per game on 60% shooting from the field (29-48) and 38% from three (5-13). All well above his season averages.
  3. Yep Lowry has been really inconsistent this year. I'm pretty sure Brooks will get the start Sunday and see how he does, the man has only had 5 games to prove himself whereas Lowry had the other 20ish games.
  4. Anyone else going to watch this? I'm going tomorrow.
  5. Jordan Hill's lack of emotion in the Holidays is =/

  6. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-magictradetalks121710 He was Morey's #1 free agent target back in 2009 and considering his frustrations with the lack of minutes in Orlando, its not surprise that the Rockets have turned their attention to possibly acquiring him. Gortat would work beautifully here.
  7. So when exactly is it safe to say that Lowry is our starting point guard? Goodbye Brooks. *knee jerk post*
  8. Celtics but the Bulls have a softer schedule.
  9. This. While they are the same age, Chandler has been in the NBA for several years and Terrence was just a rookie. 4 years of college basketball are great to hone your basketball fundamentals and IQ, but NBA is where prospects further develop their games with coaches and training staffs of the professional level. So yes Chandler is the pretty player right now but I'd rather have Terrence in a year or two.
  10. About as original as the Houston Texans but its got a much less ring to it.
  11. Per podcast, script is courtesy of HS09 from clutchfans. Daryl Morey: Gersson Rosas, Rockets Vice President of Player Personnel. Some insight on two of the top player scouts in the organization. Great to here all these good things about Terrence, hope he can make an impact here in Houston.
  12. Tough call but I picked Ed Davis, he had tremendous hype around him 2-3 years ago but an injury plagued year at North Carolina hurt his stock. I still think he has the most potential on the team and could be a borderline all-star if developed, I remember cussing out my tv when the Raptors picked Davis over Patterson.
  13. You done believing yet?

  14. Great guy and player, poor luck. Unfortunately that sums up Yao's career.

  16. Yikes I was going to say that we should maybe reserve our cap space for 2012, but that class doesn't seem to look much better.
  17. I don't think we would get past the first round with him. Rebuild and keep him as a mentor until we are ready to compete again.
  18. You could have helped make me feel better by saying we have a chance at Marc Gasol.
  19. I disagree with the 50 wins but I do think that Brooks and Martin would benefit heavily from having a Tayshaun Prince on the team. The Rockets thought Battier could help negate their backcourt's defense but we all saw how that turned out.
  20. Morey did say recently that he no longer believes in the backcourt of Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin (well indirectly) because of their atrocious defense. He wants one defense, one offense player at those two spots. Hence why Courtney Lee has been getting so much time in 4th quarters. Williams was a great defender in college so I could actually see this happening and Martin can still log 30 minutes off the bench like Manu Ginobili.
