  1. Holy crap 27 rebounds?! It could be great if he would shoot better than 30% though.
  2. Another great game for Beasley so far but the rest of the Timberwolves haven't been able to help carry the load.
  3. Great win. We are now the 2nd worst team in the West.
  4. A former #2 pick for FREE? I don't see why they shouldn't have when they didn't have anything to lose. Its not like Beasley was terrible either in his first two seasons.
  5. Repost from one of the gameday threads. And yes the Ariza trade was horrible, Chase Bud and Courtney Lee are why Morey dealt him and both have been almost invisible out on the court so far.
  6. Thankfully its not related to any of his past injuries. Hope the big fella picks off where he left off next week .
  7. I doubt many teams would want to draft a guy who redshirted the entire season in the lottery, but it could happen if the draft class is as bad as many think it will be. He came over here because he felt playing US college ball will better polish his game, at least I think that is why.

  9. Love doesn't make any sense for us unless we're rebuilding.
  10. Whoa great game for Beasley. Hopefully he keeps this up, the Wolves desperately need a go to guy.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutant_X_%28TV_series%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smallville_%28TV_series%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_%28TV_series%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cape_%282010_TV_series%29 All I could find. Also watch 24, 8 seasons of win. Personally my favorite series of all time.
  12. I loved the signings of Scola and Lowry at first too but then when I just sat back and looked at the roster there was something that didn't feel right to me. And once we traded Ariza my fears began to rise about our commitment to defense. Our struggles have NOTHING to do with our incapability to to run Rick Adelman's offense (Brooks, Martin and Scola have been brilliant offensively), but the lack of any presence defensively. No one is securing the paint and swatting shots (Hill and Yao have but are limited), no one is stopping the Kobe's and Carmelo's from dropping 30+ points, no one has been rotating correctly, etc etc. One problem I have with Morey and have mentioned this during the offseason is that his lack of commitment to winning now. Yes he and Les cashed in this past year but I feel like we are on the fence of winning now and rebuilding. These young assets and picks are supposed to nab us an all-star but so far we have nothing to show for that and until we turn those assets into one we will continue to sit on that fence and be stuck in mediocrity. Morey and Les have to decide between now and the February trade deadline whether this team is in a competing or rebuild mode. Whatever route they choose, Houston is in a great position but they HAVE to choose one imo.
  13. This has to be the first time I've ever seen Clutch (clutchfans owner/insider) take a jab at Adelman or anyone from the coaching staff and management.
  14. Thing is Brad has only had 2-3 games where he's played significant minutes. Jordan has been played 3 straight 20+ minute games before tonight. I think Rick is just trying to figure out who and what works but I don't understand why training camp and preseason wasn't enough for him.
  15. Giving Scola that big contract was also a bad move imo, dude can't play ANY defense. Not one move Morey has made in the offseason has turned out to be a good one (so far) except the signing of Ish Smith. Jordan Hill is the future face of the franchise and I'm being serious. Rick needs to realize his potential and the strides he's made over the course of the offseason and freaking play him. Honestly I've criticized Adelman a lot over the past couple of years during the regular season and every time Rick proves me wrong come playoff time. He's a complete mastermind during the postseason but I hope there is a good reason as to why he's been such an idiot so far this season.
  16. Scola had 24 points, which is nice but had merely 6 rebounds and once again played poor defense.

  18. Seriously what the [expletive] does Rick have against Jordan Hill? Is that he can't pass like his $5 million golden boy? Whatever it is Rick, get your head out of your [expletive] and play the damn kid. Also the hell was Rick playing 3 offensively incompetent players down the stretch? Martin and Ish are the only guys who showed up tonight.
  19. Yi is definitely not owning us. I refuse to believe it.
  20. Man we look terrible out there. I forgot how big of an issue fronting was for us a couple years ago.
  21. You've got to love this stretch for the Rockets: Washington, Indiana and New York at the end of the week. All beatable teams and the perfect time to get some chemistry and momentum going. If we go 3-0 we'll be 4-5, still below .500 but its not a terrible situation.
  22. Michael Jordan. I went over some his quotes and press conferences and the guy was downright brutal (although funny), but at least he had the rings and talent to back it up. Lebron is definitely cocky but he's more of a dick imo.
  23. Rambis has been trying out different rotations and there its pretty pointless to be playing your best players when you're getting blown out by 20-30 every game. Love has done nothing but [expletive] and moan all season long. Rambis will play once he cleans up his act. Anyways this team is far from the worst ever. Flynn and Webster are still injured too.
