On another note Jermaine Taylor looked pretty good in the little time he saw, 7 points on 3-4 shooting and played decent defense. I'd like for him to take some of Bud's or Battier's minutes, we could actually use him out there.
Schaub hasn't thrown any touchdowns but he's playing MUCH better than last week. Hold onto the lead guys, we can't afford to lose this game. Edit: I take that back.
Yeah but its encouraging to see the front office be so aggressive. We may not get Dos Santos but I think we will come out someone that puts us back in the elite MLS class (probably another former star like Henry/Marquez).
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/7281819.html Chances are we don't get him but you have to appreciate the effort this team is putting into improving our roster. It would be absolutely incredible if we were able to sign him though. Like the article states, AEG has plenty of money to spend but the question is whether Dos Santos would want to play and just how valuable do the Spurs view him.
Agreed, this is the first loss where I've felt good about our team. Coming front behind and forcing overtime with one of the top teams in the West without 3 of your best players is nothing to be ashamed of.
