Amare is gone (Suns just renounced his rights) and while there are some pretty good pieces still in Phoenix, its not enough to win a championship (or even win one round). I'm not sure what the Suns' cap situation looks like without Amare but unless they can make some sort of splash, I think the front office should seriously consider trading Nash to a playoff contender. At least that is how I feel.

Lakers gave Miller a deadline to accept their offer, which was yesterday midnight. My guess is that he didn't want to commit yet or he had better offers. Getting Mike is still possible for the Lakers, Kupchak just needs to entice the Wizards into a sign and trade.

Wow Amir and Gooden getting these kinds of deals makes me worry that Scola could get a fat contract offer.

I wouldn't mind signing at all, I'm not a big fan of it but he is a quality backup big man and already is familiar with Adelman's system. If Jordan Hill or Patterson are dealt in a sign and trade then it only makes more sense.
