Link Thoughts Jenneral? I've always liked Sanders but like the writer says in this article, he is a great player to take when you're trading down to the 20s. Another bit from the article.

This quote from Swish got me really pumped up. I can't wait.

No problem BFT. Looks like the Rockets are interested in acquiring another first round pick. I've never really heard of the guy before but Daryl Morey and his staff are some of the best talent evaluators in the NBA, so if they are liking what they see from Elliot then I am definitely all for it if they do acquire another draft pick. What is also interesting in that quote is that he is quite confident that the Spurs will take him if he's available. If Morey wants Williams then he better cross his fingers and hope that he slips past our Texas rival. Another bit on George from the same article. Link

Well my brother is doing all the trade in and whatnot, I'm not spending a single penny so I'm alright with it.

One of my favorite players, sucks that he won't be playing.
-
Nice deal, I think I'll do this.

I never watched him play before (other than highlights) but I watched a documentary on Manute Bol a few years ago and was amazed by his generosity and courage. The world lost a great man today. RIP.

^Apparently he won't be reffing in the World Cup again.

:o They really did go all out with this game.

Worst officiating I've ever seen.

Gah wished I'd seen this thread earlier. -_-

Kings Trade Nocioni, Hawes For Sixers Dalembert
Dash replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Sacramento Kings Team Forum
I don't like how the Kings gave up so quickly on Hawes but considering that they are likely going to get Cousins or Monroe in the draft, I guess it makes sense. Also frees up some cap space for them next season. Overall good trade for both sides. -
GM7: Boston (3) @ Los Angeles (3)
Dash replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
If the Celtics win it I'm pretty sure Pierce will get the MVP although I rather have Rondo get it. -
Or the Rockets deal, which would have actually been done had Phoenix just allowed Amare to take a physical.
-
God I hope they make an r4 for this.

The new Zelda looks like a combination of Wind Waker + Twilight Princess (without the wolf part). Looks sick. Just waiting for the new Metroid now.

I recall there being several CG fans so I thought I'd post it here although I'm a few months late on the announcement. Anyways it won't be an R3 (sadly) but rather a gaiden set between R1 and R2 with a new cast and some cameos. Rumor going around that Suzaku might be a feature character. Hawks Hire Larry Drew To Become Head Coach
Dash replied to The Regime's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
Looks like this hire was all about money. -Woj Very cheap contract. -
Morey immediately let the world know that he was gunning for the 3rd and 4th picks the moment the lottery was done with. However ever since then the Rockets' draft camp has been quiet and tough to read these past few weeks. Now concerning the prospects you listed at #14... Cole Aldrich - in a heartbeat, no need to even second guess this if he falls to the Rockets. However the chances of that happening are slim because, like you posted, of teams like the Raptors that would jump on the opportunity to snatch a Cole Aldrich. What is interesting though is that in Draftexpress' new mock, which was posted today, has the Rockets selecting Aldrich (Raptors take Bradley) but of course its only a mock. Daniel Orton - Orton is actually the last guy (on the short list) I want the Rockets to take. He could be a decent player but from what I've read recently, he sounds more like a project than an NBA ready player like many tried to make him out to be. Ekpe Udoh - a prospect I wouldn't be excited about but it wouldn't be a terrible pick either. He's got a nice skillset but I worry if he can translate his game into the NBA. Larry Sanders - excellent prospect who will be going around the late 'teens and early 20s. He's got wonderful wingspan and shot blocking ability, if we're trading down then he's not a pick at all. Solomon Alabi - he scared me away earlier in the year but apparantely he has been somewhat impressive in his workouts. Still not sold on him. Hassan Whiteside - yes please. I've heard all the negatives about this guy but I still want him for one reason, the light at the tunnel. Whiteside has the tools and potential to be a top 5 player in the draft. The Rockets already have a roster loaded with talent and with Yao coming back and the talks of a possible splash in free agency, I think Houston is one of the few teams that can be patient and take a Hassan Whiteside and groom him for a few years before he makes any impact. Like you said, with Yao's future in Houston unknown, it might be wise to take a big man who could possibly be the cornerstone of this franchise. Another prospect that no one hasn't mentioned in this thread is Paul George. Lately I've become enamored by his athletic ability and potential, he doesn't fill a big need but if Shane Battier is traded then Budinger will return to his natural position (SG) and George can run with the second unit. A second unit of Lowry - Budinger - George - Hill is insane. However, George slipping to us is also very unlikely to happen. I don't see Memphis passing him up unless Luke Babbit is available. Again I don't really have any clue who we will end up picking but those are just a few of my thoughts. Right my gut feeling is that we will take Hassan Whiteside but my brain says otherwise.

Toronto Raptors 2010 Draft Discussion
Dash replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
^Interesting but with the possibility of Bosh leaving, maybe Triano won't decide to opt against buying another pick, seeing as they could use all the talent they could get. Also might want to add the Magic to the list of teams Toronto might trade with. -Draftexpress -
Draftexpress: Cousins won't workout in Minnesota
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
I was thinking the same but then saw this on another board. Not sure if its legit though. There is also talk that the Wolves won't take Wes at #4 but will rather trade down and grab an asset or two and then take him. -
Toronto Raptors 2010 Draft Discussion
Dash replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
-Draftexpress Possibly the Hawks pick? I recall them willing to sell theirs on the cheap.
