  1. I love what Magloire has brought to this team. Leader, toughness, and a little D.
  2. Bryan looking pretty smart everyday by taking that pick and he hasn't even played a game yet.
  3. I'm sorry, the raptors are exciting?
  4. Trade him to China. They need to some how make that possible lol.
  5. I hate Lebron as much as the next guy but this stat isn't fair lol. Its 2 games.
  6. Just reading some stats quickly and I understand it has only been 10 games. But in those 10 games out of the top 10 scorers, he is 8th league in scoring, with the 3rd highest FG% behind James and Griffin, he takes the 2nd least amount of shots behind D.Rose, 5th in 3PT% and is 2nd in FT%. Oh god, imagine if he kept this up.
  7. This is what I have been hoping for! He has been playing great, and even has improved his d. He is taking it to the basket more often and fully understands now that he is what the team relies on. He hasn't taken too many bad shots like last year, and he just keeps fighting. I am more then happy of what I have seen so far this season and if he keeps it up, I really hope he gets selected for the allstar game.
  8. http://media.lawrence.com/img/photos/2007/04/26/Wizards_Cavaliers___2xcolo_t640.jpg?a6ea3ebd4438a44b86d2e9c39ecf7613005fe067
  9. This has been one of my all time favs.
  10. Im excited to watch Sean WIlliams play, he has always been one of my favorites. So much hustle. All I can ask for from the Raptors is effort. This is the first test to see if they can keep up with their defense. They held the Pacers to about 40% or under last game, just got to get their offence going. If they can try and keep the Mavs around 95 points, I'll be happy.
  11. Bargs and Calderon have been very impressive with their D, but then again cant get any worst then they were before. The connection between Calderon and Amir has been great,I think they have about 3-4 buckets off the pick and roll, 2 or 3 being allyoops. It has been a block party for the raptors. 3 blocks for James Johnson and 9 in total for the team. The defense that Casey has set has really hit the team. Demar, Bayless, and Barbosa are doing too much. They are forcing too much which is resulting in turnovers and bad shots.
  12. Why joke about it? You'd think people this day and age you wouldn't have to resort to it. Yeah its all fun and games but really its pathetic we see differences as a joke. I guess I just grew out of forums and humor like this. Sure people have thick skin but its just lazy to make a stereotype of people's color, background, and religion. If you wanna chirp someone, at least be original.
  13. Some great players leaving the league this year in Peja, Dice, and Roy. Peja will always be one of my favorite players. He was so deadly with the Kings. When he was traded to the raptors I was so happy but I felt bad at the same time cause he had to play with a team with no hope. I was happy he was at least able to play one game.
  14. This was a productive thread. Close it.
  15. lol, actually Maccolough was an all-star, Jason Collins was a solid down-low defender and was able to stop big men (but not shaq, but really who can), and Aaron Williams was solid for the Nets. Those guys were key in their run to the finals those back to back years. I would go with Jamaal, he wants to be that enforcer and leader, well let him lead by example and let him play and start. Not like its going to hurt, whoever we throw in there, it won't work anyways.
  16. I'd say Barbosa but I have a feeling he would be traded or cut before the deadline, let him go play for a contender. I would say either Calderon or Bayless whoever starts the game. With JJ and Davis/Amir whoever starts, they really aren't able to step up their own shot. With Calderon and somewhat Bayless they are able to also spot up and get a kick out for a 3.
  17. Canadian basketball is finally on the rise. With many players being top recruits, a canadian being picked in the top 5 this past draft and another one being picked later in the draft. There are some great prospects coming like Wiggins, Chan, and Bennett. Then you have players who already in the NCAA making a name of themselves like Kris Joseph, Myck, and Pangos. It only took forever but basketball is getting stronger in Canada.
  18. Stat of the day. Bargs with 9 boards. A start!
  19. Yes! Once I heard Rip was getting cut, the Bulls was the first place I thought of. This could be the finalpiece they need.
  20. I like this signing. I feel like he could be a solid role player next year. But this year, shoot and tank.
  21. NY: Amare + Tyson Boston: KG NJ: Maybe Howard .... Toronto: Bargnani Love our Division.
  22. BUT STERN YOU COULDNT STOP THIS?! haha, but really, at least we have a canadian playing for the lone Canadian team.
  23. My first post in god who knows. Dan Gilbert. You are a [expletive]ing joke. As much as I hate to see more super teams, if it happens, it happens. The Hornets will actually get a few good pieces, now when Paul leaves they are going to get nothing. Gilbert you messed up James, don't let the same thing happen to the Hornets.
