No one knows.

Well, after an early goal by no one other than Carlos Ruiz, Clint Dempsey brought the boys back to a 3-1 victory and the U.S. is through to the hexagonal round. Aside from the early goal by Guatemala, this is exactly the type of game I was hoping to end on. We managed to maintain control and attack the goal all the way up until the end of the game. Hex is going to much tougher this time around compared to 2010 (Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Trinidad & Tobago). Just wish it started soon so it'd be possible to ride this bit of momentum.

Can't wait for the return of club football this weekend, specifically the first match of the weekend between Tottenham and Chelsea. If Tottenham plans on fulfilling their goal of a top-four finish, a win against Chelsea would be a crucial step in the right direction. On the other hand, a loss would pretty much leave them in a battle for fourth. Would love to see AVB get some revenge on his former club, as I'll be rooting for Clint Dempsey and Tottenham.

While a win is expected tonight against Guatemala, one point is enough to advance to the hexagonal round. Would love to see a blowout win tonight, after the miserable performance Friday night against Antigua and Barbuda.
