  1. Close game like I expected. Really tough to go into games like these where the opponent is playing like it's a cup final and to play on a field that is primarily used for cricket. With the 2-1 win tonight the odds to advance to the Hexagonal are currently at 96.8%, per SPI. IN EDDIE JOHNSON WE TRUST. http://i.imgur.com/Kwq42.jpg
  2. The Braves sold out their 5:07 playoff start and traffic in Atlanta perennially ranks among the nation's worst.

  4. I guess, but it's a critical Game 5 and reportedly 10,000 tickets were unsold earlier today.
  5. Wow, the attendance for this game is seriously embarrassing. Even the Braves could do better.

  7. Yeah, another crisis at left back, but what's new? It's been the problem child for the U.S. for as long as I've followed them. Look for Michael Parkhurst to start out left though.
  8. Big day tomorrow for qualifying, especially in CONCACAF. Jamaica faces Guatemala, both level at seven points with the U.S., in what is probably one of the most significant games of the day. Another significant game is Argentina versus Uruguay. While Uruguay started off hot, they've really fallen off and sit in the last qualifying spot for the finals. Argentina on the other hand started off poor but has since got things together and currently sit atop the group. This match really has he chance to indicate the path each team continues on.

  10. I personally don't see anything about the league that's more exciting. What makes it more exciting to you?
  11. Not sure what to expect as I'm new to the political scene, but I will be watching.
  12. They play in the National League.
  13. I thought you were a Dodgers fan?
  14. I didn't vote because I'm not fluent in Spanish, so I wouldn't consider it my second language.

  16. No haha, I use an app called Pulse News and I have a section for soccer news and this showed up in the feed a couple of days.
  17. Ah, the back-heel goal. Something I always dreamed of doing during my lone season of being a striker. While both of those were good, I think of the best goal of last weekend was this back-heel by Tha'er Bawab of Gaz Metan, a team in Liga I, the top division in Romania. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZq0DIbq4b0
  18. Maybe they aren't what they used to be, but it doesn't matter. Brazil's U-23 thoroughly beat the U.S. 4-1. Regardless of what the final score was on the scoreboard, one thing was pretty clear, Brazil was just simply better. Yes, the U.S. had some really good chances in the beginning of the second half, but even if we had converted those chances, Brazil had multiple opportunities as well. Losing to Brazil isn't something to be ashamed of being a U.S. fan. I mean it is Brazil we're talking about after all.
  19. Took Spanish I in 8th grade and went on to take II and III my freshman year. Kind of regret not going any further.
  20. Ibanez just made Girardi look like a genius.
  21. Seems a bit overdue, but better late than never, especially after Ashley Cole Twitter incident.
  22. It's not about the coach, especially when you have a team with world-class players such as Marcelo and Neymar. Did you honestly think the U.S. stood any chance in that exhibition match?
