Fredi Gonzalez officially announces that the Braves are going to a six-man rotation through the end of August. I really like it in this situation, mainly because we don't have any off-days coming up that would put make someone pitch on seven days of rest. It also helps that they're all pretty close in terms of talent so starts aren't being taken away from someone more talented.

I really feel as though he doesn't have place on the team, especially with the way Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero have paired up. He did great in the first half of the season and he scored he game-tying goal in the last match of the season against QPR, but he clearly wasn't happy with the amount of time he was spending on the bench in the second half. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves before the pre-season transfer window closes since it is clear that he desires to play more.

It appears just by looking at the roster that he's experimenting with young MLS players, which explains why he left off people like Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey as well as other European veterans like Carlos Bocanegra, Steve Cherundolo and Oguchi Onyewu.

I wouldn't think so considering the deal GM struck with Manchester United stretches over seven years and is only worth $560 million.

I think he'd do better in cricket. I've even read that some people think he'd be able to play at the professional level.
