Went to see The Amazing Spider-Man today and it was pretty good. Pretty mad that the first five minutes the sound was off and that they didn't restart it once they turned it on.

With the USWNT defeating North Korea 1-0 yesterday, it marks the first time in Olympic history that a women's team has gone through the group stage undefeated. I'm quite surprised the United States didn't tack on anymore goals though. With the amount of chances they had in the first half I would've thought they'd have had even more in the second half, but apparently not. Quarterfinals begin on Friday and the USWNT opens up with New Zealand.

Damn, looks like I missed quite a bit while I was driving down to Florida. What a deadline for Dodger fans. Acquiring Hanley Ramirez, Shane Victorino, and Brandon League. Should give that lineup the boost they need to potentially win that division. Meh on the Dempster to Rangers deal. I'm quite interested to see how he will end up doing in the American League though. Should make the American League West race more interesting. The Jonathan Broxton to Reds deal really had me really scratching my head though. As of tonight the Reds bullpen is leading the majors in ERA at 2.66, but I guess it never hurts having too much of a good thing.

Well, with the trade deadline over I think the Angels acquisition of Zack Greinke will probably have the biggest impact. While it did cost them a considerable amount, it definitely gives them the best rotation of any American League contender.
