Just hit $600 million in U.S. box office. Doubt it surpasses "Titanic" at $658.7 million, but I guess it's possible.

Cubs top prospect Anthony Rizzo is making his debut tonight against the Mets.

Blue Jays ink a minor league deal with Jamie Moyer. Crazy to think that Moyer was born 15 years before the Blue Jays were.

Wow, owned me. -_-

Paul Carr @PCarrESPN SPI odds to win #Euro2012: Spain 47.7%, Germany 28.3%, Portugal 13.8%, Italy 10.2%. Kind of surprised Spain is so far ahead of Germany.

I honestly don't mind the penalty kicks, mainly because I can't think of a better way of deciding the game. As for the idea of more extended time, I'm really not a fan of that because it adds even more time to an already long game. Then fatigue like you mentioned would become a big factor and you might even have to consider the idea of adding another substitute or something.
-
Never heard anyone mention that. Most people just hate that the game is decided by penalties to begin with.
-
But it definitely wasn't clear that Greece would even score once, much less twice.
-
Xabi Alonso was phenomenal for Spain today. Really excited for England/Italy tomorrow. Still not sure who to root for.

Orioles granted Jamie Moyer release per his request and is officially a free agent. The Fake ESPN @TheFakeESPN Jamie Moyer now a free-agent after release from Orioles, at least 5 retirement homes have expressed interest so far.

Still impressive if you ask me.

Mike Trout scored from first on a single last night. :o

Scott Brooks' final speech to OKC during Finals
Cobb replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
Props to Coach Brooks. Class between the two teams after game was phenomenal. -
Wow, bit surprised at the amount of goals scored in the Greece/Germany match. Spain/France today should be a good one. Guess I'll root for Spain simply because they have the best shot at beating Germany. My prediction: Spain 1, France 0.
-
Still not convinced that Jair Jurrjens pitched last night.
-
He actually pitched pretty well last night aside from about five batters. As to whether or not he can build on last night's start, who knows.

Best current athlete without a championship?
Cobb replied to Cobb's topic in Other Sports Discussion
Ah, should have stated current athletes. Will edit the first post. -
With LeBron obviously winning one last night, ESPN First Take brought up this topic and I thought it was pretty interesting. Skip Bayless picked Philip Rivers, while Stephen A. Smith and John Salley chose Michael Vick. I personally would love to see Michael Vick win one, and he definitely has the pieces to do it. Who do you guys think is the best current athlete without a championship?
-
Really can't see Greece even scoring one goal, but it is the Euro's, so anything can happen.
-
Haha, you and Flash should meet up down there.
-
Do either of you plan on going to the parade on Monday?
-
Germany and Greece face off today. Germany should win easily, especially with Greek captain/playmaker Giorgos Karagounis out for the game after receiving two yellow cards in the group stage. My prediction: Germany 2, Greece 0.

Bird's 29-11-12 in 86'.

Get over it already and move on.
