Don't remember how I came across Vlad's name but I did and I searched his name and ran across a tweet from Mile Wilner, who is apparently a Blue Jays Broadcaster, saying this: It appears as though the rumours are true. Andrelton Simmons with his first career home run today. In other news, Julio Teheran is making a spot start today for Tim Hudson. While I'm not even that excited, bad, I know, I hope he does well.

Crazy game last night. Thought it was over after the "balk" in the sixth inning, turns out the best had yet to come. Glad to see Smoltz get his number retired. One of the best ever.

Plenty of chances for Netherlands in the first half, just couldn't convert them. The Danes had one chance and they buried it. Group of Death is living up to its name so far. Will be interesting to see how the Dutch come out in the second half and whether we see Huntelaar.

While it was a win, it was a litle too close for comfort. U.S. played a great first half, but the second half was a whole different story, especially the last twenty minutes. Going to have to pick things up on both sides of the ball if the U.S. wants to get a win Tuesday against Guatemala.

I'll take Netherlands and Portugal. Although, I don't really see Portugal winning unless Ronaldo has a monster game.
