GM3: Phoenix (1) @ Portland (1)

Recommended Posts

Can't wait for this game. It's going to be BIG. We'll likely NOT have Batum, so chalk up another injury for the Blazers but if we can get guys to step up (Rudy and Martell), then I think we can get this one. Plus, we're at home and the Rose Garden is one of the toughest buildings to play in.

Batum is playing hurt right now and he hurt his shoulder again and probably wont return. LaMarcus is playing way to soft, every time he gets double teamed, he passes it out right away instead of taking it to the main defender and going in.

35-62. :(

Amare is a punk. At the very least, he needs to be fined for throwing that elbow that was inches from hitting his face. If KG gets suspended, something needs to happen to Amare. Just inches away from hitting LaMarcus in the face with a VERY intention elbow.

Yea, stupid stupid move by Amare. Thank god it didnt hit or else it would have been a guaranteed suspension.

What happened?

David Stern wanted the Suns to win in Portland. The game was completely rigged, you could tell by the crap officiating. Stern has a grudge on the Blazers, he hates them! That's why we lost!

No, we got our asses kicked pretty good at home. The Suns are healthy while the Blazers are missing Oden, Joel, Roy, and mostly Batum. You gotta admit, if we were healthy, it was probably be the other way around, 2-1 in favor of Portland. I do think we'll tie the series up for game 4. It's just gonna be more difficult now that we lost home court advantage.

I don't know about that (being up 2-1 at full health). The Blazers played good against the Suns in that first game because it was a different team, overall. Same can be said about the Rockets when they lost Ming, took the Lakers to seven games because LA had no idea how to play them.

The thing about the playoffs is that you have to play the same team over and over again. No breaks, playing against the Nets and Wizards. No 1-3 month gaps between the games you play them in.

Phoenix adjusted, and they would've done the same had the Blazers been at full health. Portland is a good team, don't get me wrong, but they wouldn't be able to beat the Suns in a series, Roy or no Roy. Phoenix is too good at controlling the pace and manipulating the way their opponents score the ball and defend them.
