Amar'e Deal Likely To Follow Meeting in NY

Recommended Posts

The Knicks and Amar'e Stoudemire are working on a five-year, $100 million max contract and a deal could be completed as soon as this weekend, league sources told Y! Sports.

Stoudemire will have a face-to-face meeting with the Knicks this weekend, which will probably precede him accepting the offer, according to a source.

Stoudemire would like to hear how New York will surround him with players.

The way things are going you should be happy if you even get JJ.

Says who? Since LeBron hasn't agreed to the Knicks offer yet? No one knows what's gonna happen until LeBron signs on the dotted lines, which if it's other then Cle, is going to be no earlier than July 8. I'm sick of some saying the Nets had a presentation that LBJ liked better, and oh, but the Knicks offered this, the Heat that, the Bulls this, etc. etc.

There's no progress until he signs somewhere, lets be honest.....

It would help a ton if we sign Amare, that's one player to go along with a mediocre bench that could POSSIBLY lure LeBron.

Lets all be honest here: is lebron coming to ny without a major player along side? NO.
