Yes we lost to Australia but they are actually good. Germany came 3rd place in the WC, Ghana got unlucky but shoulda finished 4th place, and not to mention Australia made it to the Knockouts last World Cup, and lost to the winners Italy. The rankings are more or less indicative on what you did in between the two ranking periods. Holland both went farther then Brazil and beat Brazil along the way. Therefore, they are ranked higher. Yeah but then it's totally subjective because everyone has completely different tastes and thoughts on who's better and who's awful. Although I'll agree, this system has plenty of downfalls. There's no way Egypt should be number nine. All they've done is beat porous teams to improve their ranking. Couldn't even get a berth in the World Cup.
