If you don’t have the Veteran Gear achievement the Epic Team have also provided other ways to unlock each of the Gold Weapons. Gold Lancer – Download Codes Gold Hammerburst – Download Codes Gold Sawed-Off – Have the “Commando” achievement in Gears of War 1 Gold Retro Lancer – Play 90 matches & have 100 kills with Retro Lancer in Beta Gold Gnasher – Unlocks in the first week of play in GOW 3 Anyone who unlocked the Veteran Gear Achievement, will have a specialised Medal & Title which is exclusive for Gearheads. I had played the previous GOW games a lot, but I didn't pick this one up yet because I bought NHL 12 and Fifa 12 recently, and still need to get BF3 and COD. Dash Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) Multiplayer is great although people who abuse the sawed-off shotgun sometimes make me want to just stop playing. Campaign was okay, I didn't think it was particularly great but it kept me interested enough to play the whole thing and co-op was fun. Horde in one word is amazing, best thing about this game imo.
