Recommended Posts

Golden State Warriors guard Acie Law got dinged up during a local basketball tournament Sunday.Law collided knees with another player during the 24th annual Dallas Fed X Pro-Am Basketball Classic. The Dallas native out of Kimball High School said he felt soreness in his knee and decided to sit out for his team's final two games Sunday out of precaution."I didn't want to keep playing with the situation in the NBA and then have something small like this grow into something big," Law said.Law played during the majority of the tournament despite playing in just 51 games last season with the Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies because of an injured right wrist. The former Texas A&M star underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in April that shelved him for the season. Though Law wasn't released to play by the Warriors due to the lockout, he said the wrist has progressed through therapy.
