Interesting couple of incidents in Detroit. Carlos Guillen admired his HR off Weaver, warning was issued, Weaver threw at Avila and got ejected. Verlander had a no-no going into the eighth. Erick Aybar tried to bunt his way on and reached on an error. Peter Bourjos grounded into a fielder's choice, but the Tigers failed to successfully complete the rundown and Aybar scored. Izturis then broke up the no-no.

Good, Guillen got his teammate thrown at by acting like a damn idiot. I hope he caught shit in his locker room, and I'm glad Weaver stood up for himself.

When pitchers throw at opposing batters....say at their heads.....they better expect their teammate to get hit...say....around the wrist area.
