What a game. After not even playing in the opener due to not being in good enough shape yet, Samardo came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 17 points and did a great job defending Greg Monroe.

Byron Scott left the starters on the bench the whole fourth quarter as our bench took control. The difference in this game was the bench, as Brandon Knight was the only guy to score off the bench for Detroit.

Kyrie looked much better and is doing a better job of controlling each possession, but there were still too many turnovers.

Jamison was much more efficient than in the opener. He didn't throw up as many contested jumpers. The starting lineup still has work to do though, as Casspi and Parker are not scoring as much as they should.

Varejao was just awesome. He had so many hustle plays and his pick and roll game with Kyrie looked good.

Finally, Tristan Thompson looks like a stud. Averaging 11 points and 4.5 rebounds in his first two games, though against Toronto and Detroit, he is tough and knows how to play the game.

Very happy to get a win with a big road challenge coming up at Indiana on Friday.
