Curry out for G.S.

Taking a cautious approach to Stephen Curry‘s injured right foot, the Warriors will rest the starting point guard tonight. Charles Jenkins will start in his place. Curry sustained a tendon strain last Wednesday in Phoenix. It’s the same foot on which he had surgery last May and has sprained three times this season. “He’s out for tonight and basically we’ll continue to treat him and make decisions going forward,” Coach Mark Jackson said. “It’s the right thing to do. He’s a guy that if it was up to him he’d be on the floor ready to play but we’ve got to use wisdom and make sure he’s 100 percent healthy to not allow any further damage.” Jenkins will celebrate his 23rd birthday tonight with his ninth start of the season. Jackson said Jenkins is “a guy I trust, can rely on, we know what to expect with him.”
