The Artesticle Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 hypothetically speaking, on the last play when brady thew the hail mary and time expired, what if the giants got called for pass interference in the endzone? do the pats get the ball back at the 1 yard line or something and get another shot, even though the game clock expired? just wondering lol... NomarFachix Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Yes, they get another play. Game doesn't end on a defensive penalty. Brings me back to the 2002 Giants/49ers wildcard game. Botched snap on the game winning FG, which the punter picked up and threw to an ineligible player downfield, who was then interfered with.
