J.R.Smith and the Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Bulls are mathematically out of the CBA playoff picture after they lost at Guangsha

J.R. Smith's Chinese team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason.

Smith will be eligible to sign a contract as an unrestricted free agent "shortly after" his team's last regular season game on February 15. There is still uncertainty about where he will land, but Smith will serve as a volume scorer regardless of what team he winds up with this year. He's been connected to the Clippers, Lakers, Knicks, Thunder and Timberwolves. Smith averaged 12.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.6 treys in 25 minutes per game with Denver last season.

The player will be in China for the playoffs

Ike Diogu, who had signed in Puerto Rico with Caciques de Humacao few days ago, moved to Chinese CBA for the playoffs. Diogu will play with Xinjiang Flying Tigers where he will be replacing Kenyon Martin who returned to the NBA.

At the end of the Chinese playoffs, Diogu will be likely back to Puerto Rico.

The big man has played two games in NBA this season with Spurs averaging 2ppg. Diogu appeared 225 times in the NBA during his career averaging 6ppg and 3.1rpg.
