Dion Waiters May Need Knee Surgery

Recommended Posts

Cavaliers rookie shooting guard, Dion Waiters, is going to be

sidelined after he did not return in the first half of the game against

the Indiana Pacers. What seemed to be a minor injury, Waiters was only

expected to miss one week, but now, things have escalated to the point

where Waiters may need surgery on his injured knee.

The Cavaliers, who are already without Kyrie Irving and Anderson

Varejão, are going to be hit hard by this loss of Waiters. This means

that he will miss the game Wednesday, as the Cavaliers set to take on

the hot Heat team on Cleveland’s home court.  The Heat have won 23

straight games, this is the second-longest streak in NBA history.

Yet again, this is another major set back that the Cavaliers really

don’t want to see. They aren’t even sure if they are going to get their

All-Star guard Kyrie Irving back by the time the NBA season ends.
