Going to be hard for the Patriots to overcome the momentum that the Seahawks gained by winning in the way that they did against the Packers. But if any team can stop them, it's New England. I have Seattle by a TD, if that.

Two weeks is a long time to carry momentum in a sport like football. I like the Pats by 10.

Going for the Patriots. If Brady gets 4 rings in 6 Super Bowls, there's got to at least be a debate for #1 all-time.

So yeah...that just happened. What a crazy game man. Worst play-call of all time.

I read on Twitter that the players were running up the field, after the Kearse catch, yelling for Beast Mode...knowing he was going to have 2-3 chances to pound the ball in from the one.

About 99.9% of the time, you can make sense of a bad play call, twisting scenarios and finding a reason to go that route.  Last night?  There was absolutely nothing that justified throwing that ball.

I saw where they were coming from. 24 seconds, one timeout. Heavy goal line package from New England, try for a quick hitter and if incomplete you run on third, use the time out, and run on fourth. Marshawn had five carries from the one this year - one TD, two for no gain, two for loss. FWIW.

I'd have absolutely run it. Three in a row if I could get it off. But I get why they didn't. Took an absolutely perfect break and Lockette with a Todd Pinkston sized effort to blow it.

I don't think the decision to throw there was bad, and I'm not just saying that because it benefited the Patriots.

The decision to throw was fine. The play call itself was questionable. The decision to make that throw was poor.
