Who would you want guarding Kobe for the last shot?

I'm going to start doing that. Thank you.

If you want to test it out, just put your hand right beside your ear, really close. See how abnormal that feels? You can sense when something is close to your ears, especially when it's moving close and then away. Makes you want to tilt your head away from it.

LeBron in the clutch > anyone right now in the league (Kobe was before LeBron arose), especially defensively. We saw him come up back in the playoffs and during the regular season in last second situations. And if I'm correct, he's 2 for 2 in game-winning shots last year. And he's made a lot before that.

LeBron is much more bulky then Shane and more impactful. Shane is a star defensively and I'm not underestimating, but there's a reason LeBron was 1st team.

He hit two game-winning shots last year, and I don't remember him hitting any others before that. I believe the Golden State game-winning jumper was the first shot he ever hit to win a game, if I'm not mistaken.

So two GW shots makes you the most clutch player in the league?

As far as defensive clutch factor goes, I don't see that, either.

I actually don't see LeBron as an elite defensive player like most Cavaliers fans do, but that's just me, I guess. Kobe sure ate his lunch in two games last year, despite a major injury in one, and flu in the other.

Well LeBron played in the playoffs with a tumor if you wanna talk Kobe and his flu.

Here's a game winner from the 06 playoffs, a game winner vs. Portland, and the 3rd one sorta...

Maybe it is just Cavs fans, but LeBron always goes full throttle defensively. If he can steal the ball, he'll steal it; if he can block it, he'll block it. The fact that he's the greatest physical specimen in the league only helps him.

 What a joke Lebron > anybody in the clutch. Didn't I see this guy miss two key ft's against Orlando in the ECF. Didn't I see this guy also miss a key ft against Boston 2 years ago against Boston in the semi. When it comes to jumpers and FT's Lebron is nowhere near a GM mind of takign a last shot period on any team. Like J-Rat said I rather have Wade a much better closer then Lebron close out the game for me then LeBron.

that's an interesting take, someone athletic enough to keep with him, and when he pulls up get a piece of the ball maybe. interesting

in all honesty, I think that having Shane guard him would be the best, LeBron isn't exactly a lockdown defender. he gets a lot of flashy blocks and steals, and plays good D against guys he can manhandle, but if it's down to one shot I'll take "Sugar Batter" Shane Battier.

Know what? I totally agree with this.

Funny that you say this since I see Kobe killing the Mavs all the time

There are just more games that Kobe torches the Mavs in. Maybe Cuban should of done that deal to trade Dirk for Kobe.
