Phoenix is 7-1 through their first eight games, the first time they've posted such a mark since the 2000-01 season. "It stung last year not do to well," point guard Steve Nash said. "That's why you saw a lot of guys in Phoenix in August trying to get ready for the next season. No one wants to be a loser and not make the playoffs. We're motivated to be as good of a team as can be.
