Raptors Have No Intention Of Dealing Bosh

Recommended Posts

Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo says that he has no intention of trading All-Star forward Chris Bosh.

"The calls are a lot less frequent, and it's a lot less focused on Bosh. Everybody starts with, 'Well, apparently you're not trading Bosh, so can we talk about so-and-so?' " Colangelo said.

"Our intention is, we're not going to move him, so we're not discussing a scenario (that includes Bosh)."

Earlier in the season, when Toronto was struggling, trade rumors involving Bosh started to heat up. However, over the last few dozen games, the Raptors have starred to click on the court.

I never really believed that the Raptors would actually pull the trigger on a Bosh trade unless they were absolutely blown away by an offer or Bosh made it clear that he wouldn't resign with the team. This was reported January 30th, and the Bosh rumors have really died down over the past couple of weeks, so thank god. I was getting sick of reading how Bosh was a "sure thing" to be traded.

In three days, ESPN will have a report that says:

"Bosh to Portland, Roy and Bosh!" or "Bosh to Sacramento, Bosh and Evans!"

Essentially ESPN wants Bosh to anyone BUT Toronto. Expect ESPN to ignore this and think of other opportunities for Bosh to be traded or anyway out of Toronto.

Exactly, Toronto is a bigger market than alot of teams, and more than people think.
