Man, Cobb im really curious to see what offseason moves are going to happen to Atlanta and New Jersey both teams i like. misterx Posted May 24, 2010 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 thats beautiful. im sort of in the same shoes. i took a year off college and went traveling all over east asia and fell in love with this girl in the philippines. my roommate moved to LA from virginia permanently a year later after visiting here (LA) because his mind felt at ease and he felt free. its 2 years later now and he keeps saying its the best decision he ever made. im sort of in the same shoes as he is but with the philippines, but its not only because of the girl. Argh didn't pay attention to the first half much because I was so caught up in watching an amazing movie... BasX Posted May 29, 2010 Report Share Posted May 29, 2010 Blog #12First thing, I hate summer. The nice weather is sweet but I love school so much and hate working that it makes summer suck. That said from July 24th to 31st I get to go on vacation so I'm counting down the days until that week. Beer, swimming, music and bonfires all week, can't wait. Since I have all of this free time I have been trying to get into some television shows considering I really don't watch any in the first place. I don't like having to stop to watch a show at it's programed time and I want a PVR soon but nothing has come of that yet. The first show I found, as mentioned in the topic about new TV shows, is Warehouse 13. I actually enjoy it and the season got much better as it went on and the finale was pretty good. I actually found it because I'm a fan of one of the actors (Allison Scagliotti). Besides that I'm still looking for some other shows to watch especially since the playoffs are winding down and I can't watch baseball all summer. Thankfully the World Cup in this year and I really don't have a rooting interest besides Italy losing. Granted if Italy wins the party in Niagara Falls will be big enough that it could cause my work to close down for the day. Flyers are in the Final, Raptors need to get rid of Hedo, Jays are actually playing well, Jayhawks are dealing with a ticket scam I haven't read enough about and the Steelers got their QB back... for now. Music wise it's been a lot of Dance Gavin Dance recently. All three albums are so different it feels like a different bad so it's enjoyable. I also recommend Shearwater, so chill. I currently got some God is an Astronaut playing and that relaxes me at night. Anyway, give me some music recs, tv recs, anything to make the summer so quicker because I want to go back to school with the classes I enjoy and a program I am having fun in. I thought it could've been better though if it wasn't Memorial weekend and senior gradnight combined It was packed more than I thought it would be for a Friday visit. At least we managed to hit almost all the good rides. Big Thunder Mountain had a wait of 70 minutes so we were like screw that =\ There was a million people walking around in Lakers attire. If it wasn't Lakers, it was Suns or Celtics. Saw this whole family sporting Lakers. i was like wow.lol we even stood outside ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney to watch the Celtics-Magic game for a few minutes then left to go back to Disney for Space Mountain Fireworks show was amazing. Romantic too We basically walked almost nonstop the entire day. The only times we would sit was during the rides which are obviously not that long, and for a late lunch.
