Cause that's what I'm really worrying about.Nah not at all, trust me the fail is worse, its missed credits plus averaging in a [expletive] GPA. My first couple years I had 3 withdrawls, 2 of which were unregistered (teacher dropped me) the only time it threatened to hurt me is it almost cost me a my scholarship when I didn't have at least 70% of my attempted credits completed. This is [expletive]ing college, lol. Can't wait til I transfer to a real school in 2 years.with all due respect, you were retarded for doing it a third time. you already got in trouble for it twice before and you did it again. that's just not smart all, dude - sorry lol. Can she actually drop you? That's [expletive]ing weird man. I would think the only thing she could do is fail youof course. a professor can drop any student at any time. failing them for texting - I highly doubt that's legal. Yeah. I even told this guy how I was texting my sick mom to check on her and [expletive]. He said he's gonna drop me still. I even contacted the dean and she said it was up to the teacher. Wtf? [expletive] this school for dropping a student for texting in class. I should transfer to a better community college first. bro, he gave you three chances and you blew it stupendously. all you had to do was not text in that class again and yet you did it anyway. Lmao. What's next? No hats? Asking to go to the bathroom? Hahaha that sucks man. For us we can leave, arrive, text as we please. I take like a boge break or two during my long classes all the time haha.texting can be a distraction to the professor and other students. if I was up there teaching and some kid was just sitting there texting the whole class, it would piss me off after awhile. Guru
of course. a professor can drop any student at any time. failing them for texting - I highly doubt that's legal. Not at Rutgers. Or any real school. texting can be a distraction to the professor and other students. if I was up there teaching and some kid was just sitting there texting the whole class, it would piss me off after awhile. You are paying to be there, they are being paid to lecture. It is not high school any more. Whether or not it is a distraction, their job is not to make sure you are paying attention but to LECTURE the class. Not teach, lecture. They aren't teachers, they are professors.

Flash
Any professor who cares the least big about a student texting just takes it as a slight to them because most college professors have a ridiculously overinflated ego. They're all [expletive]s for the most part, but there's always those 1 or 2 professors who are cool, down to earth guys.
The Truth
Second time actually and he never gave me a warning he was going to drop me.LMFAO are you [expletive]ing kidding me, bro? you said the exact opposite [expletive]ing thing yesterday. He moved me so I would stop texting, but then he caught me again today and got pissed and kicked me out. He said next time he's gonna drop me from the class.that's the biggest fail I've ever seen in my life lmao. You sound just as retarded as the teacher right now.he's a professor, not a teacher. learn the terminology, and be mild, young fella. No other college level professor cares. This guy is just [expletive]ing gay.dude, you have no clue lol. pretty much every professor I've had (and I've had at least twenty by now) has strongly discouraged texting and/or gotten seriously pissed at someone for doing it in class. my math professor makes everyone turn off their phones and put them on her desk before we take a test. if anyone's phone goes off, they automatically get a zero on the test and get reported to the dean. she also checks our arms, our pockets, the soles of our shoes, etc to see if we're cheating. You are paying to be there, they are being paid to lecture. It is not high school any more. Whether or not it is a distraction, their job is not to make sure you are paying attention but to LECTURE the class. Not teach, lecture. They aren't teachers, they are professors.i'm pretty sure it's their job to teach as well lol. so you believe texting should be allowed in every college classroom across the country? that's great. what better way to ensure the success of our students than to let each and every single one of them text during class, at any time, whenever and wherever? sure, it'll be extremely distracting to the one guy in the class who's not texting and actually trying to learn something, but hey, student rights are way more important than letting people learn. the guy who sits there while every single person around him is texting is just going to have to deal with it - how dare he not want to be distracted after paying thousands in tuition? ^exactly. Paid for this [expletive]ing class, I can show up if I want and do whatever I want. I've already aced everything so far too. My teacher is just a dick.that attitude is what got you screwed. you might want to change lol. I was the same way coming in from high school, but that mindset gets you nowhere in college. just because it's higher learning and you have more freedoms than you did in high school doesn't mean you can just defy the professor's orders and do whatever you want in the classroom. Any professor who cares the least big about a student texting just takes it as a slight to them because most college professors have a ridiculously overinflated ego.I think most professors are cool, actually. they're teaching us and giving us their time and respect. the very least we could do is not text while they're trying to do their job. After the second time, he told me I got one more chance but then he e-mailed me saying he changed his mind and is now dropping me. Why do you sound so butthurt defending these teachers/professors whatever you wanna call them. Guru said it best, most have egos and don't give a [expletive] about the student.
