Rockets See Martin As One Of The Most Efficient Scorers In History

Recommended Posts

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey studied Kevin Martin's scouting report prior to acquiring him from the Kings and found him to be one of the most effective scorers in the last 30 years.

He's the only player who has shot 40 percent from three-point land and averaged eight made free-throws a game in the course of an entire season, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Morey "let the Kings know early and often he was ready to deal if they were."

He could be an efficient scorer, but he doesn't make his team-mates better, which I think is really the problem.

He has been getting a few nice assists, his problem is his defense, he is average at best, he still makes us better though, he can be a good scorer.
