Did ya'll see Kevin Durant light it up at Rucker? I know D at Rucker is a far cry from from the NBA be he absolutely caught fire and was dropping in 3's like they were lay ups.

If this is a Summer tour for only about a month then there's no reason that they can't play in China and then play the NBA season. That would be cool to see: Dirk Chris Paul Rajon Rondo Deron Williams Rose Amare Kobe Blake Griffin Carmelo vs. Manu Ginobili vs. Wade vs. Durant Al Horford Joe Johnson Randolph Dwight Ray Allen Kevin Garnett Tim Duncan LeBron Something like that would be amazing!

I don't believe in all this "they wanted it more" nonsense. Don't you think LeBron wanted that championship sooooo bad to shut every one up, like me? Of course he did. But Dallas is a better team, the Heat relied on pure athleticism to get as fas as they did but in the end two stars, well only one in the Finals, can't beat a well rounded team. If LeBron learns some post moves and a little bit about playing offense without the ball, things will be different next year. They also need some kind of consistency in regards to perimeter shooting. Look at the Mavs, complete team. You have Dirk who proved he is the most unstoppable offensive force in the league. You have a distributing point guard who has made the third most 3's in NBA history and can defend and rebound outstandingly from his position, J Kidd. Throw in Chandler a glass eater and the perimeter shooting of Terry and you can see how LeBron and his girlfriend lost in 6. I seriously hope that LeBron never wins, but honestly he'll probably win at least 2 before it's all over.

MJ... No question. The man was literally allergic to losing. One of my favorite things about Jordan was that he never, ever seemed rushed. Even with 4 seconds left, he'd take just enough dribbles to get to the spot he wanted, raise up and hit the game winner at the buzzer. Just go back and take a look at that man's career and it will blow your mind. Come on, this is just getting ridiculous. If this had any legs, how could Obama go to a University, then Law School and then become a Senator, without any of this ever being brought up? I mean it's not like he was born in his parents living room in 1882. He was born in a hospital in Hawaii that has records of his birth. If we're gunna make a fuss about this idiotic story than I demand to see every other politicians birth certificate tomorrow. If I were the Head of State and some one asked to see my birth certificate I wouldn't even dignify that request with a response. Oh wait, that would never happen because I'm White, seriously this story needs to go away, I'm pissed at myself for even spending any time to recognize this as a worthy discussion topic.

I always liked Shaq off the court but despised him as a player for no reason other than all of those title runs he made with the Lakers... I HATE those early 2000's Lakers so much. That being said I don't want to see him go out like this, if in fact he doesn't play again this season. I can't see him returning and I don't no who would want a 40-year old center. Just retire Shaq and enjoy being on tv.

Yeah for sure! I bet they'll be preseason favorites to win it all by Vegas odds.

I'd have to say Kobe as well. As much as I love Tim Duncan but from 2000-2010 he won 3 titles to Kobe's 5, and I feel like he had a better end of the decade than Tim Duncan.

Yeah I agree. I thought Barnes would leave, everyone was talking about how much he likes college and that it wouldn't be surprising if he went back, but they always say that. I'm always shocked when a top 3 guy stays at school. This is gunna be the worst draft that I can remember. It keeps getting weaker and weaker,. You know it's bad when Jimmer might be a lottery pick.

I have to go with the Bulls. I think have the best chance to take Chicago out, but in a seven game series I'd take the Bulls in 6. The Heat still haven't shown that they can put it all together consistently against the best teams in the league, so there's no reason I see that changing this year. I don't know it just feels like this is Derrick Rose's year, although that's the same way I felt about LeBron last year. The more I type the harder it is to keep my conviction that the Bulls are the best in the East, but I think barring discovery of Joakim Noah sleeping with Rose's mom, Chicago will not only make the finals but win it all.

I think the only upset in the first round is gunna be Portland over whoever they play. I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but I think the second round could be crazy. The Lakers always have issues with Portland, the Spurs are fading, Chicago is unproven, Boston is old and who knows how the Heat will mesh throughout a long series. It should be a great postseason, with no run-away favorite and no team that seems invincible.

Ok I'm not saying that this approach isn't beneficial to both the NBA and the NCAA, which lets face is plummeting fro some reason, but I still can't get behind it. It's just straight up unconstitutional. If you are 18 and someone wants to hire you to do a job, there's no problem.... Oh wait, unless It's NBA and NFL players. This isn't ever an issue when it comes to tennis players or golfers. Don't get me wrong I don't think the game would be better if they let teams draft 16 year olds... But I mean this America. Let's be consistent. Let them go after High School...
