LA Clippers at Oklahoma City
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
CP3 and Griffin were just horrible, and the Clippers weren't going to be able to play keep-up with a dynamic Thunder team, especially with the lack of defense (which is nothing new for LAC). Great to see Fish in OKC. -

I'm assuming the Eddy Curry experiment is now considered a failure, by the way. Miami needs a lot of help up front. Not really sure Turiaf will help them as much as they may think, because he's really not that stellar on either side of the ball, but at least he brings the energy.

Now the Heat need to trade Wade for Howard, and sign Shaq, to complete the ABDC hip-hop dance crew of those two, LeBron and Ronny.

Haha...what does this even mean? Is the writer expecting Blake to dunk the free throw, or...? If Griffin is on the list because of his lack of defense (despite his athleticism), where is Amare? Is this guy going to include Rondo, for shooting poor free throws and not being able to hit long jumpers? Ron hasn't been a "beast" on the offensive end of the floor in four years, since his stint with Sacramento. Dirk isn't playing bad anymore. He had a slow start, and his injury didn't help the case, but it was just the other night he dropped 30+ on Denver, and he had a 40-point game last month (don't remember who he played). This article is a mess.

Haha...wow. Jeremy Lin was the Tim Tebow of New York. Now Tim Tebow is the Tim Tebow of New York. Funny how life works.

March Madness 2012 Discussion Thread
Real Deal replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in General NCAA Discussion
Praying for Cincinnati to take out Ohio State AND for Ohio to beat UNC...somehow, someway. Of course, I'd like to see all of the #1's lose, but that's because it's around that time where I stop caring about my bracket, lol. -
You seem to break your TV every time the Lakers lose. I remember when I'd break my Super Nintendo controllers when I'd lose playing games. I knew you were a Lakers fan all along. I should change your team rep. :o

Warriors fans boo Lacob during Mullin ceremony
Real Deal replied to BadgerFan's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Damn, there are a ton of guys on Twitter (from the media...Stein is one, Spears is another) who are blasting the Warriors fans for what they did, said they could have refrained from it because it spoiled what should have been Mullin's night, and that the fact that Mullin and Barry (esp. Barry) were so angry justifies why everyone else should see it as disrespectful and unnecessary. -

Minnesota at Golden State
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
With 2:15 left in the game, Kevin Love has 34 points...and he's the only guy scoring in double digits, Minnesota still winning. :o -

https://twitter.com/#!/WojYahooNBA/status/181840708561416192 I still think he can be a good, productive player in this league (off the bench, for cheap). Sacramento was not the place for Hickson.

Fisher can't be a Laker until July. You can at least mark Boston off the list. Even if they didn't have a PG, and they were offering Fisher the MLE, he wouldn't accept. The idea for most teams would be to bring him in for leadership and helping their younger guard develop. A team like Cleveland could use him. Irving is a baller, but regardless, a player like him needs a guy like Fish, to prevent what COULD happen down the road (Irving reading into his numbers too much and becoming selfish). I know people are saying Miami, but what for? Chalmers and Cole are going to eat up every minute at the position...and Cole probably feels he's not getting enough burn already. Fisher would be tagging along, barely playing, and basically giving up as a leader (not a guy in the Miami trio would care what Fisher has to say). I wouldn't be surprised to see him try and stay in the area, though. I'm just not sure where. While he's an intelligent player and can offer to mentor the younger guys...well, he's also a liability most of the time he's in the game, aside from the last minute. One of the main reasons LA needed Fisher's game-winners was actually because of Fisher's play through the first 3 1/2 quarters.

The Kobe vs. LeBron garbage is getting annoying. Stop ruining topics with it. Not every LeBron comment deserves one about Kobe, and in the same light, if someone trashes Kobe, stop going after LeBron. Refrain from putting both in your post if the comparison itself is not relevant to the topic, or if you have a history of doing so, just don't post.
