  1. No surprise that a D'Antoni team, a Karl team, and a Nash-led team are in the bottom ten...and are above .500 right now?

  3. If Kuester walks, it's going to make the team (the half that skipped practice) look really, really bad. Detroit should probably fire him, if they feel that him resigning is a possibility. The truth is, those that wanted to organize the "boycott" and skip practice...the other 29 teams in the NBA will see them as disrespectful players. Kuester was a good assistant, and he's respected by a few coaches and GM's in the NBA. It's the same guy that was an assistant under Rick Pitino and Larry Brown, and he preaches defense and was an excellent defensive player back when he played for the Heels.
  4. For one, it's not Kuester's fault that they suck. The Pistons were built wrong. All eggs were in the basket for Ben Gordon, who was supposed to shine outside of Chicago. Instead, they have no idea where they need to play him, or what they need to do with him, Stuckey, Hamilton and McGrady all trying to play the two-guard. Villanueva is a big SF. Daye, Jerebko...same position. Everyone wants to make plays and have the ball in their hands...from Stuckey to McGrady, Gordon, and Bynum. While they really don't have that great of a coach, they don't have a team, either. I don't see why any player would be laughing when they are a bottom-feeding East team.
  5. I won't be able to start one up immediately, because I have a lot of projects I need to finish, but we'll take one more stab at it.
  6. Steve Nash. There are few people in NBA history that run an offense better than he does.
  7. Haha, the Beasley comparison is pretty close. Williams has to learn how to play defense...not really sure if it's because he's undersized, or if it's him not putting out the effort (it's really hard to tell when a player is in college). If he puts on more muscle, he's going to be dangerous...and I think that's why he's up there on draft boards. His offensive game isn't complete, but he's getting better and better...a few post moves, he's athletic and can get to the rim from 20 feet away, and he also has a decent jumper. I still think the Cavaliers would want Irving, though.
  8. Turn off your ad-block, and make sure you're not using your hosts file to block ads, either.
  9. Sorry, but there really isn't anything positive to take from this game if you're the Bulls, other than adding a win to your record. They desperately needed that trade to bring in a decent two-guard. For what the Pacers nearly got him for, the Bulls should've went right after OJ Mayo. Standing ovation for Asik, though, and for the Bulls because they didn't trade him to Houston. Asik played very well tonight, did a lot of dirty work and played like a big man, and proved me wrong.
  10. Man, OTR is racking up the posts. That's what I love. Trade deadline every day?
  11. It's all about Troy Murphy. Don't know why, but it is.
  12. Don't speak too soon. There are still a few trades that have been unannounced, according to a few sources.
  13. Would've been the worst trade out of all of them, even worse than Boston's deal.
  14. Deal didn't make it in time. OJ is still in Memphis. Thread closed.
  15. I was actually waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it, and Murphy + Celtics presented it. Although, I never had a censor to begin with. I actually had to type out [expletive]. And you guys thought you had it bad.
  16. Boring team! Don't worry, I was wanting a move by LA. Haha, Calderon is the franchise.
  17. So Boston is crossing their fingers for a Blake Griffin season-ending injury next year? Otherwise, that pick won't replace what they've lost today.
  18. [expletive] Troy Murphy. He's going to get eaten alive by offensive-minded centers. Boston screwed up.
  19. Not the only one. Perk is a true defensive anchor.
