  1. Probably better against smaller teams, but they will struggle against the bigger elites. Gasol/Drew and Howard are going to kill them.
  2. Just reported that they are sending Goran Dragic to Houston.
  3. Haha, no idea...they just said a deal was done for him. Probably Dudley.
  4. Just reported on ESPN. EDIT: They are sending Goran Dragic and a pick to Houston.
  5. The Thunder definitely win this trade. With a defensive anchor, they can be a scary team and a very tough out in the playoffs.
  6. I seriously can't believe that. Green will play the three, and he'll help defend LeBron and Carmelo. Perkins was huge for Boston, though...but maybe the Celtics felt like he wasn't going to return to the team next season.
  7. Biedrins would make sense, if Gilbert is looking to replace Ilgauskas. While Big Z wasn't a defensive anchor, he wasn't horrible...and just having a big that could play half-way decent help defense, and use his size correctly, was one reason why the Cavaliers were an excellent defensive team for years. Keep in mind that Biedrins did enter the league with a defensive mindset. He was never going to turn into an offensive juggernaut. Maybe Gilbert is interested for that reason, and sticking him in the frontcourt with Varejao (who is a very good defender) would help negate the lack of perimeter defense that is assisting in killing the Cavs this season.
  8. Chicago can get a better big in this year's draft with those picks. I don't get their obsession with Asik.
  9. Brooks is undersized and a chucker, no defense. Houston has to get away from that. I have no idea why Minnesota would be interested, though. Brooks isn't a triangle point guard.
  10. I wouldn't be surprised, because Parker is a good three-point shooter, and while he's not a monster of a defensive player, he can defend better than Walton. However, I just don't see why we would do it unless we were trading Brown...and Brown has to give his consent to any trade we try to include him in, due to the one-year extension and Bird Rights.
  11. Cleveland deciding they want to just tear the walls down even more, I guess? I wonder what motivates Golden State to pull off a deal to bring him back?
  12. It's not impossible, but I just don't get that. Bargnani isn't going to bring Toronto a franchise player, and while he's not one himself OR a valuable center, he's still their best player to date, and the Raptors can't build around anyone else on the roster. If there was any truth to this, it's because the Raptors are tanking, and they want to find out just how valuable he is, and what they would need to seek in the upcoming draft.
  13. Why would this even make sense for Boston? They would have nobody to back up Rondo, unless they believe Delonte will finally be healthy and stable enough to contribute at the point. Wafer sure the hell isn't going to play the one.
  14. Word is that Josh Smith is also on the block, but the asking price is far too high for most teams interested.
  15. Nobody. Flynn isn't a consistent shooter, he's too small, and he doesn't play defense. It would be an upgrade over Blake, but only because of age. Blake runs an offense better.
  16. He's happy. He wanted out of Utah. A few rumors were out saying he asked for a trade, at one point, and if that's true, that was resting on the mind of the Utah front office, especially since Sloan took a hike all because of this guy (yes, he did).
  17. The good thing about Thabeet is that he has a team option after next season. Houston can take a test drive for 1 1/2 seasons, then decide if they want to pay him that $6 million.
  18. Looks like it's not going to happen. Jordan wants Batum, and keeps trying to push that possibility, and there's no way Portland trades him.
  19. I don't see how this deal doesn't get done, really. Houston won't trade anyone without a big involved, and Memphis is dead set on getting Battier (they really have to, now with Gay out). All Chicago can do is give them Asik (for Lee), and I would think Houston would take Thabeet just for the project, plus the first-rounder.
  20. Just need to fix the footer, and add a few more things...finally rebuilt the template.

  24. Reports came out that the Clippers have been shopping Kaman for a while now, but after the way he started the season, his value has hit rock bottom, and the Clips are worried they'll lose one of their bigs for basically nothing in return. They'll find a way to deal him, though. Bigs aren't tough to shop around...only when they are injured.
  25. I wonder if the Clippers have another deal on the table somewhere.
