  1. You forgot: leadership basketball IQ primacy offensive awareness clutch factor killer instinct mental stability brains So, basically, he can do a 360 layup and can make a nice little pass every 25 games, and he can rebound (because he can jump). So he could probably be the best player in the NBA if he really tried, correct? If he wasn't so damn stubborn?
  2. Those satellites (or whatever the hell they are) look a little big next to the sun. If the sun is around 109 times larger than the Earth (in diameter), those satellites are...far bigger than continents? Of course, they aren't right next to the sun...but still. EDIT: Stupid post...hell of a camera...should probably consider that.
  3. Needs a bit more of an update (wherever you got those numbers, they didn't take into account the game against the Magic). Allen: 2,557-6,423 (.398) Next two games: @Charlotte (Monday), vs. LA Lakers (Thursday on TNT)
  4. Pacers are on a roll, win their fourth-straight game under the new coach. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/gametracker/recap/NBA_20110206_IND@NJ
  5. PNR Week 16, get your predictions in ASAP!

  6. Wow guys, sorry that I skipped Week 15. It was supposed to post from my iPhone, but I guess not. Copy and paste the code below, filling in the blanks. All correct answers get you five points. No late entries accepted. If you don't turn yours in by the tip-off of the first game, you miss out, no exceptions. Wednesday, February 9th LA Clippers @ New York (NBATV) Winner: Leading scorer: Denver @ Golden State (NBATV) Winner: Leading passer: Thursday, February 10th LA Lakers @ Boston (TNT) Winner: Leading rebounder: Dallas @ Denver (TNT) Winner: Player with the most threes made: Friday, February 11th LA Lakers @ New York (ESPN) Winner: Leading scorer: Phoenix @ Utah (ESPN) Winner: Leading rebounder: Saturday, February 12th Charlotte @ Atlanta (NBATV) Winner: Player with the most turnovers:
  7. I'm up for whatever. We need more discussion on this. I mean, the idea is to modify this the way the community would like to have it because, obviously, it's member-generated (and, technically, everything on OTR is...but the success of KIR depends heavily on our members...whether they participate and ask questions, or simply ignore it altogether).
  8. I wonder how Grant and Finley feel right now...of course they are happy, but deep down, do they feel a bit irrelevant?
  9. Key words for "when Al Davis goes."
  10. Haha, well, I'm sure I could edit all of that...but it would take a bit more effort because I'd have to edit the entire topic table through the database (because the edit time is on the post), and Kyle would also be able to see mod logs of the post edit to begin with. I actually changed my pick to Atlanta for a while, because I didn't think Aaron Rodgers would be back after the second hit...but once he came back, I put all of my chips in again...the Packers' defense was really the deciding factor, as long as they had Jennings, Driver and Nelson getting footballs tossed to them by Rodgers.
  11. I had to bump this because I seriously didn't think I'd know anything about football this season. If it was basketball, it would be much different...but I got that win in the Pick'em contest, and I got the SB picks right. I usually don't pay that much attention to the sport, but this is probably the first year I really started cracking down and watching almost every game.
  12. Maybe so, can't remember. I could've sworn I heard that two players from the same team can't participate in the contest, but I don't know.
  13. I agree with most, but ESPN is also riding Griffin because he's doing things no rookie has done since Shaq and Jordan, in regards to some of his individual performances. He already set the rookie consecutive double-double record as well, and he's a threat for a triple-double more than any other big in the NBA, the way he's passing the ball. LeBron wasn't all just dunks, either. He takes over games. He's a superstar. If we were talking about someone like James White, dunking the ball 1-2 times a game and averaging something like 5 PPG on 40% FG, nothing else...it would be different...but ESPN has been all over Griffin for the same reason they were with LeBron, and it's not just about those highlights.
  14. ...lol. I hope you're kidding. http://www.wcbias.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/kingjames.jpg http://media.cleveland.com/startingblocks/photo/lebron-james-jim-grayjpg-942fd231d1cb539e_large.jpg http://www.blogcdn.com/nba.fanhouse.com/media/2009/06/0617_lebron_tmz.jpg http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_assets/310120/news_lebron-james-check-my-stats-1.jpg http://www.quadratix.org/wp-content/gallery/tats/lebron-james-tattoo-001-back-chosen-one-small.jpg http://meetthadealer.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/alg_lebron_heat.jpg
  15. Doesn't look too good, honestly. Even something like that could lead to ruptured discs. Hope he's okay. And yeah...weird game so far. Arenas shouldn't be playing, either.
  16. I didn't think he could do that. Max of one player per team?
  17. Nobody should've picked Belfort for this fight. It's going to take someone like GSP to jump into the weight class and take out Silva, and I'm not even sure of that.
  18. ...a Wolves' first-rounder? So Minny trades that, and Brewer, for basically Randolph and an expiring?
  19. Not much going on with it, seems like the more popular members have already had their turn (a few are still waiting)...so should we keep it running, modify it a bit to work in a different way, or what?
  20. Forgot to reply to this, sorry... There were a few broken tables in the database, so it was a five-minute repair. If you run across any other problems, let me know.
