  1. LOL. C - Artest PF - Kobe SF - Meeks SG - Morris PG - Blake GOOOOOOOOOO.
  2. First thing that ran through my head: NO, WE DO NOT WANT ANDREW BYNUM BACK. I don't know why the Sixers would want Blake or Duhon, though. They'd be interested in Morris, I'm sure. Wright is making around $4.1 million. Jordan Hill is around $3.5 million. To be honest, I'd hate to lose Jordan Hill...but if D'Antoni isn't going to play him at all (and he's not), I'd go Hill for Wright, straight up.
  3. Ugh...gotta go take this laptop back to this girl today, even though I didn't have time to fix it. Guess she needs it for class this afternoon (won't connect to the net, but she needs it for Word or something). She told me she'd need it Friday, so I put it on the backburner. Time to cut my workout time in half, jump in the shower, brush that tongue, eat an early lunch, and go get it back to her...she has class in two hours.
  4. KB! I'm surprised that OKC leads the PF position.

  9. So much for that... http://www.bps-ok.org/bhs More threats to shoot up the school, and now they've launched an investigation. So many scumbags in this world. I'm supposed to go Christmas shopping Friday morning, in Bartlesville, at their biggest mall. It almost has me deciding to just stay home.
  10. Kobe with the layup in traffic, no foul called, but oh well. Can't believe we have to rely on him playing 40+ minutes and dropping 30 to beat the CHARLOTTE BOBCATS.
  11. Kobe ball, meaning, Kobe with the ball in his hands...not necessarily just hoisting shots. And it worked. It was getting our guys open. We aren't going to stop Kemba, no matter what. Nobody on our team can stop him, sadly.
  12. Down to the Bobcats, halftime. What the hell. Their 11-game losing streak will come to an end tonight...I can just feel it. We need Kobe ball, right now. Besides Kobe and Dwight, our team is shooting 10-31.
  13. I seriously can't stand Mark Sanchez. The dude is worthless, and so is Rex Ryan.
  14. That's pretty crazy. I figured it was edited on there, so I went back to the movie on my computer. It's definitely real. http://i46.tinypic.com/293k3g2.jpg

  16. I'm not even surprised. Peyton Manning earlier in the year, and now Tom Brady...not a shocker, at all.
  17. Ah, yeah, quakes hit the OKC area for a few days, including a pretty big one (for us) that forced me to run over to my TV and hold it, keeping it from falling forward. Like I said, I've felt quakes before, when I lived in California...but before the 2-3 days of quakes in Oklahoma/Kansas, never in this area.
  18. If we can't get anything better for Pau (because I really don't like Derrick Williams or JJ Barea), I'd do the deal because AK has a player option for next season (not a long contract) + D-Will has a team option before the summer of 2014. However, I believe AK47 turned us down this summer because he doesn't like the organization. I heard something like that. If that's true, I'd be shocked to see this one work out. Minnesota goes for it, though, to please Ricky Rubio AND to add another big man that would have to play like one (he wouldn't have an excuse in Minnesota). May piss off Love in the process, and push Pekovic out of the starting five, but they'd do it to keep Rubio happy.
  19. 10,000+ homicides by a firearm every year, and nearly double that in suicides by gun. I'm not talking about this particular case...already stated that, I believe. I'm not saying this to stop all gun-related incidents, because that won't happen, and guns on the black market will ALWAYS exist. That's not the point. But if you can already get them illegally, why allow people to get them SO EASILY legally? At least make it tougher one direction. Well, that's more of a question to those who want to get rid of them altogether. You can start by just making it difficult to get them, simple as that...make it a process. The people that have guns, already, usually have just one for protection OR they collect them. The collectors will eventually run through the process. You're weeding out a lot of people there. --------------- About a month ago, we had a guy snap and shoot someone in my town...over $40. Sure, he could have stabbed him...but I'm pretty sure everyone here will agree that they'd rather be stabbed, and have a better chance to live, than to be shot in the head (like he was). Was that guy going to go make a bomb in five minutes, come back and threaten the guy for his $40? Doubt that. Again, guns are available on the "black market" anyway. Always will be. I see no point in letting the average Joe walk into Wal-Mart to buy a gun and ammo any time of the day, no matter who he is. Shootings may be so common where most of you live, but not in my town until this last year or so...and the funny thing is, most every shooting that happens in this area isn't coming from crazed people...it's from angry people, over money, drugs, or relationships. Even people that I have interacted with over the last five years (playing basketball, mostly). Sure, there's something not right with a guy that wants to murder, but in the process, they aren't planning it for weeks or months, and they aren't killing multiple people to make a statement...it's out of anger, in the moment. So it's not all about unstable people, planning to go nuts. There's more to it than that, just like there's more to it than having a gun in your possession. Multiple things need attention, but at least SOME form of control (better control) needs touched on as well.
  20. Well, the 21st is an irrelevant date to me. I'm also not a religious nutjob that goes around forcing it down everyone's throats. However, I do believe in God, and that the world will see events like this take place before it's all said and done, so it does grab my interest.
