  1. Nah, he scanned it right in front of me, and it beeped (you know, the scan noise, lol). It just didn't log on the register, or something. I have a feeling that me scanning my credit card for a second time killed the sale, somehow. Not my place to know. I probably would've said something, but with how Wal-Mart ripped me off two years ago, [expletive] them.
  2. Just got back from Wal-Mart, and I have an awesome story. I bought 2k11, two Twix bars and some printer ink. Paid $30. Basically, my card didn't scan correctly the first time (after he scanned the game), so I re-scanned my card, entered the pin, and waited. Once he swiped everything, it came out to be $30.02 and I just kind of stood there, looking at the dude's face and wondering if he was just really sleepy or high. Then I thought about how Wal-Mart ripped me off on my 2k9 game two years ago (they wouldn't take it back...I opened it and found it cracked), so I just looked over at Terry, grabbed the bag and said, "Thanks." 2k11 = free.
  3. Not being able to contain your opposition is an issue. You can't run with five help defenders on the court. That would be like running an offense with five Richard Hamiltons, jogging around and waiting for a pass that isn't there.
  4. The Heat are having trouble rotating on defense. Is there such thing as too many help defenders and not enough on-ball defenders?
  5. Stone Cold is going to return and destroy that Nexus group. Bet?
  6. I honestly have never seen an NBA player with a better spin move (while dribbling or, in this case, in mid-air) than John Wall, and I've watched a LOT of NBA.
  7. Haha, I laughed... http://apps.facebook.com/nba-two-k-eleven/share/448
  8. MAN...sucks. I seriously don't have $60 to spare this month. I'm about to go punch a snake in the throat.
  9. Ah. Why aren't they doing it for the two-time champs this season, then? And didn't Boston win 66 games a couple of seasons ago? Why not them, after they brought in who they did? I never said it was wrong, I just think it's funny. They usually do that for teams that prove they can win 60+ games.
  10. Much different. It's covering just one team, as you noticed. And not only that, but it has a 72-win countdown, which is exciting.
  11. That's if the other team allows the Knicks to control the tempo. The other team doesn't have to play at the set tempo, and those boards will have to come from Amare's offensive rebounding, and he's no Gasol on the o-glass. Last season, the Warriors played an uptempo offense, and were 29th in total offensive boards, 27th defensive boards. The Knicks were 23rd, Suns 15th. Amare isn't Shaq. So, because Dirk Nowitzki is a player of Amare's caliber (better, actually), there will be more plays in the paint? Dallas was 24th in offensive boards. Dirk didn't even grab eight boards a game last year. There's really no relation.
  12. Yeah, but I want to see him put that up against starting centers for 82 games.

  14. Between Wall, Griffin and Cousins, it all depends on their roles. I'm very curious to see how Gordon and Griffin play together, if Gordon will feed off of him in the post or what, and I'm not really sure how Cousins will do with Landry and Casspi wanting shots. Griffin should run away with it. It takes PGs longer to develop. I think Cousins' attitude could ruin him, at least for the first couple of years of his career.
  15. Ratliff looks like he's 26 years old out there, and not 86.
  16. The bench doesn't look that bad running the triangle out there. I'm a little surprised.
  17. You can post the links in the gameday topics, you just can't create topics for those links.
