What bothers me about gays.
Real Deal replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
From another topic... What bothers me about members, those that get high, is that I really don't know if their brain is functioning long enough to make a decent post that makes sense. Not only that, but I feel like, the longer they smoke and are on the site, the worse it gets, and they become trolls without even realizing it, even when they aren't high. Yep, like these... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CDcK0OZZ6Hg/SMgd5x1LCzI/AAAAAAAAAdE/4Y_25PQb9ZU/s400/skinny+jeans.jpg I don't think I have to continue with this post. Point has been made. Thread closed. -
Never said I want to play for the Nets
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
I would remove that last part, because last season, the Knicks weren't that much better than New Jersey (the Nets tanked, it was obvious just watching them), and yet Amare still left a 50+ win Suns team to go to a team that won just 29 games in a weaker conference. It has a lot to do with the money and the marketing. A LOT. I'm not sure if Amare expected to win much in New York, unless he's thinking Melo to NY is a sure bet. -
Vote and explain. Previous numbers... 2002-03: 8.8 2003-04: 9.0 2004-05: 8.9 2005-06: 5.3 (three games) 2006-07: 9.6 2007-08: 9.1 2008-09: 8.1 2009-10: 8.9

Dude, the last shot of him before he came in and ran the ball twice...with all the players around him happy, and he was just pissed. You could see it in his eyes, and he wasn't even smiling. Makes me sick.

LMAO What were you thinking? It's the Raiders.

Rondo Eager To Prove He's NBA's Best Point Guard
Real Deal replied to Poe's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Basically, Rondo is a deserving all-star point guard, while Paul and Williams are superstar point guards. One plays off of his other all-star teammates extremely well, while the other two have their non-star teammates play off of them. When or if Rondo ever becomes "the man" on the Celtics as far as carrying the offensive load goes...I'll start to consider it. As noted already, he's not expected to drop 20 a night, run the offense, defend the best players, AND see double teams. Once he hits superstar level, and he's carrying a mightier load, he'll be in that discussion. Of course, you can't fault him for thinking he's the best point...but you can definitely fault him for not playing like it. -
WHOA, who is that #27 that has barely gotten any carries this year, yet runs through everyone trying to tackle him? Crazy!

LOL, was I the only one that saw that?

Wizards Giving Morrison Opportunities With Howard Out
Real Deal replied to Poe's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
I believe it was Kobe who said he was one of the best shooters on the team last season (or the season before), but Morrison could never stay on the court because of the injuries. -
Bored, so I played it again...got the Jesus bug again. I read somewhere it was only on 360's, but it's not. And, to comment on the actual gameplay...oh my God, it's horrible. There seems to be another bug, too. Does anyone automatically run out of bounds, sideways, when you poke a ball away from a player? It happened to me twice. Maybe it's just at mid-court, too...not really sure. Try and rip someone as they cross halfcourt, and then rush after the ball and see where your player ends up. Pretty funny stuff.

Karl Malone. But athleticism isn't just about a player's muscles, either.

Jordan is arguably the most athletic player in NBA history.

Kobe says he would beat LeBron one on one
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
Kobe is the best post player at the guard position since Jordan, and many will argue he's on Jordan's level (or better) in the post. That was before he went to Hakeem. And a bigger player cannot just go post up someone. They have to have post skills. I'm really not sure if you guys are serious or not. It would be a little different if we were talking about Bynum posting up on Kobe, because it's WAY too much weight and height...but LeBron is not a seven-footer, and he's not 290-300 pounds with a center's wingspan. But, at the end of the game, it won't be about the post...it'll be about the on-ball defense. LeBron is not an elite on-ball defender, and Kobe has many, many more ways of scoring, so it will take much more than a LeBron James to stop Bryant from dropping buckets. Now, if it's Wade and LeBron, it's a bit different. Wade is a slasher, and LeBron is more athletic. Tough to really say there. I think that, really, Wade would cause more trouble for Kobe than LeBron would. -
I shared an account with my brother last year, and they cut it off after a week. The database logs IP addresses, and the typical rule of thumb is if two different IP's log in within five minutes of each other, and their sessions last over ten, it's being shared. It will flag your account, and by the end of the week, you'll more than likely lose your LP.

Oh, I know. That's the only thing I've never liked about Bryant, although I do feel like he gets hit too often without a whistle.

White/Bush or Richardson/Ingram or McFadden/Jones
Real Deal replied to La Bomba's topic in College Football
Whoa, that bench is nasty. I didn't know he could bench that much. :o -
In other words, a handful of MVP winners and future HOF'ers, and most are/were all-stars (or should be).

Man, Arthur has to find a way to contribute, like I know he can. In a way, I guess it's a good thing that he didn't get picked so high because everyone would be calling him a bust right about now, and that almost always kills a player's confidence. He just has to get on the court and stay out there, play a little more in the post, put on more weight (as in muscle), and give it his best as a solid backup four. He actually didn't do that bad in his first preseason. I remember watching him. I didn't get to see him last year, though.

Bush and White are hard to argue against. At the time, I figured both were going to tear up the NFL. -
Anyone ever tried cage fighting?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in MMA, Wrestling and Boxing Forum
Yeah, basically what happened with me. Seriously, I was kind of nervous even when I had side control on him. -
Just tried cage fighting for the first time ever. My friend has been doing it for five years, and he wore me the hell out on the ground, and I'm bigger and felt like I was stronger...just too much stamina. He kind of cheated though (not really), because I actually took him down first, but I didn't know what to do (we weren't punching each other). So I tried to gain side control, and he gave it to me, caught me off guard, and put me in a triangle choke. He didn't wrench it in, though...but he kept asking me to get out of it, and it's impossible unless you want to rip your ears off...couldn't pull my head or my arm out. So after what seemed like an hour in one of those, he let it go and took my side quickly, then started working over my arm. Eventually, he dropped his legs over my neck and chest, put me in a PERFECT armbar, and made me tap, and I felt like the triangle choke drained every single ounce of energy I've had, and not even five days worth of energy could've saved me. Gotta respect those dudes for what they can do on the mat. He said I was actually really, really good being a rookie, but I didn't believe him, lol.

Hard Cap Could Mean Reduction Of Existing Contracts
Real Deal replied to Poe's topic in General NBA Discussion
I really, really don't think the players union will want that hard cap, and that lockout will last forever. They would rather decrease max contracts and decrease the salary cap, but the hard cap changes a LOT...drops MLE's and LLE's, changes all contracts (current and future), and yet it doesn't prevent big-market teams from retaining their superstars because those superstars will, eventually, see less and less money. The hard cap will ruin the league. -
Gilbert will start at the two, and if he's not playing well, they will consider moving him to the bench and starting Hinrich.
