  1. Well, they stole Blair, as they usually do with all of their draft picks. The Spurs have trouble winning games without Tim suiting up, but they can surely limit his time on the court and still get the job done.
  2. The Jayhawks have limited their opponents to under 50% shooting in 90 consecutive games.
  3. Don't be so sure about Dallas. They struggled tonight against the Thunder, at home, and OKC was relying on a lot of one-on-one play, rather than team offense. Howard was ugly on offense tonight, and he was letting guys blow past him as well. With Marion acting more like the Toronto version over the Phoenix one, I think the Raptors have a shot. You know Kidd isn't going to light Calderon up like CP3 or Deron Williams would, so you're safe at the point, at least.
  4. Ariza is probably like many players, then. I haven't watched Houston much lately, but I'm guessing he's wanting the ball more, and so he's sacrificing his playing abilities to act like a coach on the court. Key word: act. Basically, he's probably unhappy that Aaron Brooks and Carl Landry are stealing his spotlight, so he's having to find another way to "contribute" and make fans think he's telling everyone how to win.
  5. Yep, stated this earlier in the season, actually. Seven shots for Howard isn't enough, no matter how simple his offensive game may be. Look for him deep in the post, feed him the ball and let him draw doubles.
  6. Jennings put up the big three to stick a fork in the game, but his poor shooting is killing the Bucks, and demanding guys like Bogut work harder to get him open. Defense is simply the problem for Golden State. We know they can score 200 points a game, but giving up so much and having to keep up with the opposition's offensive spurts is wearing the Warriors down for 36+ minutes, and by the time that last quarter rolls around, it's clutch or bust.
  7. Houston needed to win this game. Those West teams are tugging to maintain that playoff spot, and with teams like Memphis and Oklahoma City rolling, it could get ugly come April.
  8. Just in case you Raps fans don't know...TORONTO IS A .500 TEAM RIGHT NOW! In late November, just watching them made me think they'd be near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.
  9. Brandon Rush had a great game off the bench: 15 points (5/5 FG), six rebounds and five assists, even though it was against the Nets. Courtney Lee just doesn't fit in, or else he doesn't like being on a losing squad, and his play shows it.
  10. CP3 tried to get that Reggie Miller call, but it didn't happen. I don't think he had any business shooting that three to begin with, though, despite the game really being over at that point.
  11. Pretty bad shot by Foye to end the game. Rose slaughtered the Wizards, Hinrich was like a hawk on defense, and I have to bring up Noah and his will to win. Dude wants to grab every board and block every shot he can.
  12. Atlanta is playing so well mainly because of Crawford's scoring off the bench, in my opinion. If they keep this up, he'll be Sixth Man of the Year, hands down, running away with the award. Phoenix should've gotten the ball to someone other than Amare, by the way.
  13. With Martin, there's just no ball movement, hardly any plays ran. Sacramento needs to deal him, and give this team to Evans right now.
  14. Yeah man, I actually was hoping Terry would make the second. That would've given the Thunder time to get someone open, instead of throwing the ball directly at the opposition's hands. Solid clutch defense by Howard. Almost five seconds...that would've been more than enough to rush up the court and get off a 15-foot jumper.
  15. The Spurs just came out and laid an egg. I guess everyone was scared to death of Boris Diaw, by the looks of the lack of defense played on him.
  16. Memphis isn't looking so bad. Gay and Mayo are doing well, and Zach Randolph is giving them that offensive boost, not to mention Gasol's defense is nice to have up front. Playoff run?
  17. Matt, stop replying to him. People are starting to think it's a bit obsessive, and you'll start losing respect over it quickly, no matter who it is. And Darren, you don't need to talk about the ignore feature. We know. If I have to step in again, I'll just hand out suspensions and won't look back. Don't PM me about it, don't discuss it any further. We're here to post, not pull each others' hair.
  18. Kaman does make a big difference, though. The Lakers would still take it, but I doubt Bynum would have as many points. Chris doesn't play much defense, but Bynum would have trouble getting a deep post on him.
  19. Wow, weren't they up 24? Bargs looks to be having a good game, just by the numbers. I haven't watched but two minutes of this one, haha.
  20. Haha, we have one. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_avatars/Warriors.jpg
  21. LOL, that was when Shaw was suspended against the Blazers. Shaq and Fish were just pissed off and showing it. Basically, Shaw came off the bench when Pippen and Fox were about to go at it, but there was a timeout called right before he got up. So, technically, he was fine in what he did...but the league didn't see it that way, and since it was an important playoff game, Phil was pissed, and so were the players. The Lakers ended up winning that game, though. Harper played well in his place.
  22. Thanks for the help, guys. Remember, these sigs don't have to FEATURE the site, just have the site name somewhere in them (like SOTM requirements).
  23. MAN, I just watched the game (had to DVR it tonight). That was AWESOME. YATA for three! That has to be one of the most exciting game-winners I've ever seen.
