  1. Could Cousins drop a 16 and 10 season in his rookie season? .. That would secure them playoffs if he can put in a consistent performance like that for them.
  2. The kid can do it too, now with Granger, Hibbert who are on the verge of being all-stars.
  3. LMFAO a 10 year battle for 7th and 8th seed? You delusional brother lol .. We will make 7th or 8th this season but i see us being in the top 4 after 2-3 years. We are that good right now in terms of over the whole roster talent .. i love our roster at the moment.
  4. Harris needs to work with Avery on his high pick and roll passing .. we need him to just focus on assists and getting the ball up court effectively .. Lopez is our best player .. you cannot say otherwise so we need Harris to take that role of the general on the court and implement that in his passing meaning he needs to be more assertive and get that ball to Lopez .. We could have been far better last season if we were better at running a effective pick and roll offense between our key players Harris and Lopez.
  5. Again back to square 1 with this team .. they should have gotten rid of Conley while the had the chance .. You have two RAW scorers in Mayo and Gay .. there is no way they work together unless there is a veteran or elite point guard running that team .. I just can't be bothered with this team sometimes .. I will wait till Conley is gone and a proper point guard is in place to start watching them again.
  6. All i know is i expect Kobe to have 6 rings and finally claim the crown of GOAT when the new season ends.. I would dare call a Lakers sweep on Miami with a team like that .. two of the top 3 perimeter defenders in the league in Matt Barnes and Artest. Not to Pau and Bynum in the paint .. how are teams going to score if the Lakers decided to run Kobe - Barnes - Artest - Pau - Bynum. Seriously how do you score on that?
  7. You can't judge a players potential, skill or future (career wise) over SL. I can understand changing your perspective on what you see from SL in terms of the players overall ability but that in itself is a little irrational but still holds some validity. To sum it up .. i wouldn't go off what you see in the SL. I like you now though Snake, thanks for the kind words about Favors.. I think Turner will be a superstar however .. he will make a impact in his first season and prove to people why he should have gone 1st. (not won over by wall yet)
  8. Agreed 100% .. They need to move Monta to a place like Cleveland that will allow him to shine and show his skills with a more veteran team who can also guide him. I would take Hickson before i take Mo Williams though .. they should have Hickson the highest on their list IMO over anyone else .. Mo and Hickson together should be a done deal for Ellis .. We know Ellis is a borderline all-star but he ain't a borderline all-star with Curry improving dramatically like no one anticipated .. EXCEPT ME ...
  9. [expletive] outta here you dumb [expletive] .. i wasn't talking about our finals run, i am saying overall in general he isn't as good of a player as people think/thought. Do you classify Kenyon as a good player?.. If you do then your a moron which i already know .. He was playing with Jason Kidd, what do you expect him to do? I know i expected no less from him then what he did. JKidd > Kenyon. Learn something bout the Nets you bum.
  10. lmao flourished? .. Who the hell flourished when they left us? .. More like we made guys flourish off our team .. example - Devin Harris. It's about your team role and playing time/opportunity that makes a player better as in over the basic standard and being a star player. Kevin Martin nor David Lee would have gotten the same opportunities they got on the Kings or the Knicks as they would on the Nets. Its simple so you can't really say that they are good players because it is a different situation if we drafted them .. simply we didn't need them at the time although they did develop into good players on 'their teams' .. Sean Williams is still a high potential guy .. i still can't come to terms with why we let him and guys like Yi go just so easily.
  11. LMAO you are literally going to 'state' that drafting average players (other then Tony but not like we ever needed him) would have made us better.. SMH How do you know any of those players would have worked at all for us? .. It's just a assumption. Rod did a fine job. He was involved in getting rid of those contracts and drafted in my opinion extremely well from 2007 onwards..
  12. Boom. I think he goes to Chicago. I however think they need to do a sign and trade .. imagine the Blazers with Ronnie! .. that would work well for both teams as the Blazers continue to grow as a defensive team and the Bulls continue to grow as a offensive team.
  13. I think it is safe to say that Darren Collison would be taking Pauls spot sometime in the near future.
  14. Learn something about another country other then the States before allowing your ignorant self post.
  15. lol kenyon wasn't that great of a player though .. its kind of like a poor mans amare with a better point guard .. yeh i said it .. J. Kidd is better then S. Nash.
  16. No but it is unfair to judge Rod Thorn when we throughout 2001-2006 consistent Atlantic Division champions and a strong playoff team, so how do you really draft well if your picks are ending up 18th-20th-22nd (around there consistently) .. If it wasn't for Nenad injury we would have been 6th straight Atlantic champs and really from there who knows if we would have got rid of Kidd, RJ then VC. Then when things started to fall apart i think Rod did the best job he could as in getting rid of our big contracts and drafting solid young players from 2007 onwards. I really don't see how you can look back when we had success on the court and come up with this article based over 10 years of GM work when fairly you should only be looking at 2007-2010 when we really were a lottery team (Rod had more work on his hands before his retirement)
  17. Sorry but didn't make much sense to me cause it wasn't Thorns fault we were a consistent playoff team..
  18. Whole article/write up is crappy .. Sorry but it is and makes no sense. Through 2000-2007 we were a playoff team .. I am sure we made the playoffs every season during then too. How are you going to critique picks from 10 and lower consistently. Kenyon Martin was a strong pick .. If he didn't get injured he would still be a 17 and 8 guy. Lopez was a major steal .. Favors was a good decision but I would have gone with cousins and ask anyone .. I am still a fan of Sean Williams .. We should have kept him cause he is such a strong shot blocking player .. U don't get that type of play from many guys
  19. Lopez > Cousins > Nene y'all can't say otherwise
  20. Jesus it's brook! Not that hard to see. He will 25ppg+ this season so I ain't worried
  21. Huh? I know we got Favors and James but Yi would have not hurt us at all .. Getting rid of him was really a poor move .. Also we got Zoubek and no Yi? Lmao
  22. Cause he brings athleticism which Humpries doesn't nor does Boone but I think he's gone.. Correct me if i'm wrong. We need to run a bit more and score quicker .. We have a fast, athletic squad now with strong inside and perimeter defense .. I expect Avery to run a bit of trap and fast break the offense off that .. I really want to see Avery work these guys hard .. Running constantly will be our key to sucess ..
  23. spot on. What I was thinkin also.. I am over pritchard now .. We have good staff now in the front office.
  24. I see him exploding into his prime next season .. This guy will be challenging Kobe, Wade, KD, Granger for that scoring title.
