I don't think you can call MLSE cheap after the contract they handed out to an average player like Landry Fields. I'd more call that stupidity than cheapness. The thing is, no above average player who can be over-paid to play somewhere else is going to choose Toronto over somewhere like LA, Boston, Miami, Chicago, etc.

I think your pretty bang on with the Jamal Crawford comparison.

I think his value on the team is more then what your going to get in any kind of trade. I liked his defense last year and I wish we would have just stuck with him instead of overpaying Fields.

They should be giving him more playing time. I think they need to see if he can even compete against NBA level prospects, let alone NBA level players.
