I'm a little worried that the Leafs are just going to be getting bulied going into next season if we don't add soem toughness to the team. Orr is pretty much an AHLer now, and with Luke Schenn and Colby Armstrong gone, our group looks like a bunch of pussies compared to pretty much every team in the NE. JVR doesn't add any toughness, hes just big. Its mostly just Rosehill to go up against the heavy weights, and Mike Brown to mess with the Marchand types.

Do you see any chance of Dallas contending for a cup though? Its not like Jagr has 2-4 years left. You would think if it wasn't about the money he would sign with an actual contender this year.

Jonas Valanciunas is getting snubbed more than Motiejunas. Valanciunas would have been the clear cut #2 overall pick had he waited and been drafted this year. I'd say he has a pretty good chance.

Old news, but we signed Jay McClement to a 2 year deal worth 3 million. Also signed D, Mike Kostka to a 1 year contract. McClement is an upgrade over Steckel without question, and I'd say we got him at a great price. Now we have an even bigger log jam at centre, none of which 1C material. We're going to have to unload atleast one of Bozak, Grabovski, Colborne or Kadri. Kostka is nothing more than a depth Marlies signing. He probably has no chance of seeing the Leafs roster this season with the number of guys we have who are NHL ready at the position. We also re-signed Frattin, Hamilton and Rynnas.
