14K's. This kid is a monster. I love it.

Damn, Strasburg gave up a HR.
-
He's looking real sharp right now. I'm loving every second of this. I'm going to actually look forward to watching the Nats now.
-
I think I'm in love. Strasburg <3

To be honest, no one. I want to see the Wizards take the same approach the Thunder took after they drafted Durant. Rebuild completely, don't look to win immediately, and let your first rounder develop into a superstar.

There's so many songs on this album, I'm going to have to listen to it a few times before I actually remember which one's I liked.

PM's sent to people who requested it. Hopefully the link I sent worked.

Pretty solid so far. Really not bad at all. Much better than Relapse. I'm 10 tracks in. These songs are long as [expletive] though.

Pierce: "We ain't coming back to LA!"
AboveLegit replied to Cobb's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
But see that's the problem, Kobe has to choose between Rondo or Ray. Pick your poison.. And that's exactly why the Celtics have a great shot at beating the Lakers. Gasol can lock up Garnett, Ron can lock up Pierce, but as soon as you leave Rondo or Ray with room to work with, they will hurt you. And that opens up opportunities for guys like Perkins, Nate, Tony, Glen, etc. But Laker fans shouldn't be too worried because Boston ain't a great home team. -
We couldn't void his contract because he wasn't charged with a felony.

This [expletive] is sick. Love it.

GM2: Boston (0) @ Los Angeles (1)
AboveLegit replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Have no idea what to expect from the C's tonight. Just hoping for Ray to stay out of foul trouble and get going offensively. -
There's two sides to this: The optimistic side is getting into Arenas' head and making him believe in Flip Saunders' system. If Ernie and the rest of the team accomplish this, Gil will coexist with John. John Wall is going to be a passer and a playmaker, he's not a scorer. He doesn't have the jumpshot to be considered a scorer. Think of Derrick Rose in his rookie year. Great slasher, not so great shooter. But the reason he averaged 19PPG was because he was in an offense with not a lot of great weapons. John has Dray, Gil, and Mike Miller (assuming he resigns, which I believe he will). That's a combined total of probably 45 points. The side which most Wizards fans are dreading is seeing Gil believe he's still the main (and only) weapon (which I highly doubt he does). If that is the case and he does indeed stunt John's growth as a PG, then we'll simply buy him out or seek a trade (most likely to a contender).

I thought he would be a midlevel first rounder, but he has really improved his stock. He has a smooth offensive game, his jumpshot is great, and is a freak athlete.

Predict John Wall's Rookie Stats
AboveLegit replied to Flight's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
It's hard to predict because until Gilbert gets traded, most of the scoring will be coming from him and not Wall. John will come in right away and facilitate, he's going to be the playmaker. I can see him averaging anywhere from 14PPG to 18PPG. But I think he has the potential to average 8 or 9 APG. -

Hollinger ranks the top NBA finals teams
AboveLegit replied to Dash's topic in General NBA Discussion
None one of the three peat Laker teams from this past decade? They're easily top ten.. -
Thanks for the comments everyone, appreciate it.

Are you for or against holding players accountable for losses in the Finals? Do you look at Kobe's career as being to the Finals 6 times (this year will be his seventh, but we'll leave it out of the discussion since we do not know if he loses or wins), or winning 4 times and losing twice? Imagine if LeBron manages to win 6 titles (while breaking records like Jordan did), would you look at his 2007 trip to the Finals (where he got swept by the Spurs) as a negative indictment to his career, or would you look at it as him being to the Finals one more time than Jordan? How much weight do these Finals losses hold to one's career? Do the positives (actually having the opportunity to play in the finals) outweigh the negatives (losing in the finals)? Discuss.

Highly doubt the Pacers reach for Bledsoe this early...They're better off waiting till next year when the PG's are much better.
