  1. Lol yeah that was definitely a dirty play by KG.
  2. Definitely, although they did give up a huge play near the end of the game where Georgetown's center was basically all by himself in the paint for the easy dunk. Austin Freeman has a dominant game today, this kid is just amazing.
  3. Terrible no call by the ref, Daye was clearly fouled.
  4. Sigh.... This game especially shows how important JaVale is to this team. While it did give Trevor an opportunity to show why we drafted him in the first round, he could not do what only JaVale can do on this team, and that's shot blocking. Westbrook got ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he wanted in the paint, he drove at will. If JaVale was in the post, I guarantee you he wouldn't drop 35. But I'm glad we kept on fighting, John had another horrid night, but a lot of guys stepped up. Dray played well for the most part (seems like I say that every time he has a good game), Yi had a great night and was huge for us on the boards, and as I mentioned earlier, Trevor played his best game as a NBA player. This kid clearly has potential, hopefully Flip plays him more and more. I'm extremely concerned with how John has been playing as of late. He's been so hesitant shooting the ball, he's not stepping into his shot on a consistent basis, and he's not keeping his dribble alive and not attacking the basket. And he really has been playing terrible defense as well.. Ty Lawson, Chauncey Billups, and Russell Westbrook have all gotten their way with him. I think we're getting real close to that first road win, hopefully it's tomorrow in Memphis.
  5. lol it was probably staged, but still funny seeing everyone else fail on their dunk attempts.
  6. Portland caught Boston sleeping and are suddenly back in the game. Celtics need to just give Ray the ball, no one can hit FT's.
  7. Not a bad half so far, just gotta limit the turnovers (both teams). Nice physical half, should be a great second half.
  8. What a great game. Still scratching my head over that play designed to give Chalmers the shot at the end. I know he was wide open, but damn, you gotta give it to Wade or Jones. And LeBron still cannot finish in the paint unless he's running down the court with a head of steam.
  9. Don't understand why this is such a big deal, it's a smart move by the league.
  10. Yeah, I'm guessing VY gets another chance to prove himself. I think Fisher will take a year off.
  11. Not really, he just didn't know it was banned. It was an honest mistake.
  12. http://twitter.com/#!/STEIN_LINE_HQ/status/30749625199624192 Same exact steroid Shard used when he was suspended last year for 10 games.
  13. Chad Ford ESPN Insider It's an insider article, but I found it on Bullets Forever so it's legit. I don't see anyone being interested in him, but might as well try shopping him around to see if there's any takers.
  14. Out of that whole list, Wall is by far the best passer. Not to mention he's arguably the fastest one. If he can somehow luck his way into making that three point shot, I think he has the best shot to win it. You can vote here: http://www.nba.com/chooseyoursquad/?ls=iref:nbahpt1
  15. Oh I know what you mean, I'm not saying it's a guarantee that he will be a good player, but based on what I see, I think it's alright to say he's a safe pick late in the first round. He's worth the risk. And there's nothing wrong with being like JJ Redick, he struggled early on in his career, but has developed into a nice role player on a championship caliber team. He has improved drastically on defense. And let's not forget the same criticism was over Steph Curry when he declared for the draft. Like Warren said, if he's in the right system, he can be a good player in the NBA.
  16. I don't see how he can be labeled a bust when he's probably a mid to late first rounder.. Adam Morrison is a bust because he went #3.
  17. Thing with Adam though is that he's just too slow and not athletic enough to play in this league. He was a pure scorer in college, nothing more. He could be like a Stephen Curry, but as I said before, he just needs to work on his PG skills. Great mid to late first round pick if you ask me.
  18. He has one of the best jumpers I've ever seen. His PG skills are getting better and it looks like he'll be a decent defender at the next level, although he still has a lot of work ahead of him in that regard. But that shot alone will make him a deadly weapon on any team. Right now he kind of reminds me of a very underdeveloped Steve Nash, which leaves a lot to be desired, but as a first rounder, he can wind up being a very good thing, especially if he develops other aspects of his game. 43 points on 14-24 FG, 10-11 FT, and 5-8 from three. Crazy.
  19. Haven't seen a ton of Warriors games this season, but I can tell Monta has taken over the role of being the leader of this team. However, I'm not completely sure he's exactly what this team needs moving forward. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he just seems like the kind of player who benefits from playing a ton of minutes in an up tempo style of offense. I absolutely love the signing of Dorrell Wright however. I think he's exactly what this team needed, a guy who can spread the floor for Ellis and Curry. And I never understood the Ekpe Udoh obsession the front office showed leading up to the draft. I thought they should have gone after Greg Monroe (who has been playing well as of late). As for Steph's sophomore slump, I too wouldn't worry too much about it. This kid has loads of potential, and do believe he will continue to grow as a true PG in this league.
  20. Got kind of bored with 2k, now I'm obsessed with Fifa.
  21. Well the only reason why I put NJ over the Wizards is because they have so much flexibility and have the assets to trade for or sign a big name guy. They already have a solid team to build around with Lopez and Favors, which could end up being a great frontcourt in a few years. It's not so much of Lewis' contract that tempts me to put them behind the Nets as it is their situation with Blatche and McGee. I'm not sold on either one of them, nor do I think they are good long term solutions. The only players I am positive about is Wall and Young, I believe both have star potential. But if they get a top 3 pick and are able to draft a guy like Perry Jones or Terrance Jones, then who knows, we could be looking at the next team on the rise. Lewis' contract really isn't as bad as Arenas, so it's not so much of a problem to me. And I agree with you, I don't think of Milwaukee as a rebuilding team.
  22. The MLE will be a lot smaller by the offseason, so I don't think he'd take it. And even if it does exist, I doubt he'd go for it, he could make a lot more money going elsewhere.
  23. Cleveland, Minnesota, Sacramento, New Jersey, Toronto, Washington, Detroit and Milwaukee. 1. New Jersey 2. Washington 3. Sacramento 4. Milwaukee 5. Minnesota 6. Toronto 7. Detroit 8. Cleveland
