  1. Who's really the franchise player here? For me it's always been Durant, however, Westbrook has shown more capability of carrying the team than Durant has. It's wild to say they're better off without him, but who's the better player/leader?
  2. Hey guys, I used to be in these, are they still popular / played at forums? I was curious on where I could get the software, I'm studying TC and now, with perspective, I'd love to see how it all worked. Do you know where it's available?
  3. For me the key is down low. IMO Phoenix isn't being horrible defensively, still not a good team but at least we're much stronger down low. Marcin Gortat is being very good for us and Robin Lopez adds a lot of muscle too. As it has been said pefore, we're a very impredictable team and that's probably our best weapon. I do not believe we'll make the playoffs though, too many good teams in the West. At one point we'll lose a couple games straight and since we're already behind and on a playoff run this will probably kill us.
  4. Thanks a lot! And thanks Shaliq for the link because I wouldn't have noticed it, haha.
  5. Not really happy with having THREE times to kill the game and not be able to as we're supposed to be an offesinve team. Been a while since we beat Dallas, though. Many close games the past years but it seems like we bever managed to make it happen.
  6. Rubio said in the Spanish papers he was offered a spot in here but he didn't want to participate, no further explanation. It is believed he's afraid to choke with the jumpshot and embarrass himself.
  7. Sure didn't expect Arsenal to lose like that against Milan!!!
  8. No big names but it can still be good. I do think Love is too much of a slow shooter, though.
  9. On the paper it doesn't look good at all. However, it's not like this contest is about being a great dunker anymore, only the most creative. Hopefully it won't disapoint.
  10. Hell I'm on the Rasual Butler bandwagon now. Best tanking tool ever.
  11. On the Spanish newspapers it says Toronto is shopping him because of his contract, which is too big for their rebuilding plan (along with his age). It is also said the Lakers are interested. If this scenario happened, it would definetily make Pau happy, who has been complaining a lot about not enjoying games lately because he's not getting touches or he's not getting them where he wants to, only being able to pass the ball in the system. I don't even know if this was known in LA, but yeah, he's been saying that kind of things a lot lately. If Calderon fits the Lakers? I think Calderon is a great point guard, great patience, intelligent player. His defense is pretty bad (he's way too slow) but I think that's something common at the PG position for the Lakers. I don't see how he can hurt the team.
  12. He wants to get a max deal on a bad team and in a couple years request a trade. Get paid, then win. That's how it goes.
  13. I'm guessing that Boston is doing REALLY bad because it's hard to score so little against Phoenix although our defense is a bit better than other years. I've read Gortat was great with 14 points in a row.
  14. Lol aren't you Brazilian? Because Pepe is Portuguese...
  15. Mourinho better win La Liga this year or he'll be fired, because he's not going to win the CL unless Barcelona doesn't make it to the final.
  16. The Spanish aren't much like the Chinese, haha. The NBA isn't popular in Spain because it's always 2-3-4 am in the morning and you have to pay to watch the games. Whatismore, most people probably don't know you vote All Star players and think it's a selection based on X. It could be though, but I don't think so.
  17. I hope I'm wrong but I think the hype on Rubio is a tad too high right now. He might be lucky because of the shortened season but I think he's not going to keep it up all year: in Europe we play 3 games a week if you are a top notch team and he's playing as a starter right now. As of Valanciunas, I think he's one of the european players with most potencial I've seen in a while but as of now it is not possible in any kind of way Navarro is not the best player. I'm actually not a big Navarro fan because I've always believed he takes too many early, contested shots (a bit like Kobe) but after the Euros in September I can do nothing but bless him. I'm talking about basketball player in general and not necesarily a NBA-fit.
  18. Well it all looks a bit chaotic... I haven't seen him play this year but isn't Pau Gasol a PF? Yet he's the second best center? o.O
